Have fun learning and playing with your preschooler! Activity It’s a Wrap
First, watch this week’s video!
What You Need: Wrapping paper, clear tape, safety scissors, gift bows, and small boxes What You Do: Lay out wrapping paper and supplies. Say, “Today we have all these boxes and wrapping paper. Will you help me wrap them? (Help your child cut or tear the paper and wrap the boxes.) “Our Bible story was about three wise men who brought gifts to Jesus. The wise men celebrated Jesus and worshipped Him. Jesus is very special because Jesus is God’s Son. God loves us so much that God gave us Jesus to be our friend forever! “Let’s put these presents somewhere so we can see them and remember that God loves us. (Place gifts in a spot to help remind family and friends that God gave us Jesus.) How do we know God loves us? God gave us Jesus!”
Bible Story The Wise Men (Matthew 2:1-2, 9-11)
Remember This “God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son.” John 3:16, GNT
Say This How do we know God loves us? God gave us Jesus.
Prayer “Dear God, thank You for the true story of Christmas. Help us celebrate Jesus like the wise men did. We don’t have to wait for Christmas to celebrate that You love us and gave us Jesus. We can do that every day! We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, we pray, amen.”
