THE BIG QUESTIONS (to discuss with your kids)
1. ELEMENTARY ONLY: In this week’s Kids at Home video, how did Dr. Lichtenstein help us understand that the Holy Spirit is God? He used the example of an egg which has three parts, just like God has three parts: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three parts have a special job, but all three parts are needed to make the egg an egg. Such is the same with God. 2. What happened in Luke 3:21–22? Jesus was baptized by the Holy Spirit. 3. How did the Holy Spirit appear? What does this remind you of? The Holy Spirit appeared in the form of a dove, which is a reminder of life, love, peace, and a promise from God. It symbolizes the presence of God.
