Soquel Camp Meeting Booklet 2025

Page 1

Welcome Bienvenidos

to Soquel Camp Meeting 2025! al Campestre Soquel 2025!

It is a joy to see you gathered under the banner of this year’s theme, “Restored”. Our prayer is that every heart and home will leave renewed—spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.

We heard your concerns that Camp Meeting felt out of reach for some families. In response, registration fees have been reduced by 30 percent, making Soquel more affordable than ever. And while the cost is lower, the standard has been raised. A newly expanded, professionally trained security team is on site around the clock, underscoring our commitment to the safety of every attendee— especially our children.

The program itself is richer, too. An outstanding roster of speakers will open God’s Word each day, and one of the world’s finest vocalists will lift our worship to new heights. Every seminar, workshop, and evening service has been planned with restoration in mind.

You also asked that our oldest members be cared for with the same intentionality. We listened, and we responded by dedicating convenient cabins and support services specifically for seniors. This is only one example of the promise guiding all our preparations: we are listening, and we are responding.

Throughout this week, I invite you to worship wholeheartedly, to reconnect with friends old and new, and to allow the Holy Spirit to mend what is broken and strengthen what is whole. May Soquel Camp Meeting 2025 be more than an event—it is my hope it becomes a living testimony that God still restores.

Welcome Home.

¡Bienvenido a casa!

PRAYER: UNLEASHING GOD’S POWER

MUSIC & WORSHIP: MOVING FORWARD TOGETHER

Neil A. Thomas

Unleashing God’s Power is a five-day prayer intensive that blends inspiring personal prayer stories, bold scriptural insights, and practical guidance— experience real-time prayer together with a presentation. Explore your own prayer journey, learn to ask audaciously, and wrestle with God’s silence—discovering why answers wait and how faith grows. Come expecting a deeper connection, courage, and a transformative answer to your prayer.

Drawing on nearly 40 years as an organist, choral director, and educator across the Caribbean, U.S., and Canada, Pastor Thomas leads an interactive seminar that traces Scripture-rooted worship history, surveys emerging trends, and offers practical, culturally responsible tools for multigenerational congregations. Expect dynamic worship, lively panels, and hands-on activities that equip churches to move forward together in Christ-centered music.

With four decades in ministry, Rudy Salazar turns everyday resources into mission fuel. Drawing on Scripture, real-life testimonies, and practical tools, his seminar shows how time, talents, and treasure become acts of worship that advance the gospel. Discover liberating principles of ownership, gratitude, and generosity that equip churches and families to thrive financially and spiritually.

STEWARDSHIP: RESTORE YOUR FINANCES

In today’s world of excess information, social media influencers, and conflicting health claims, it’s hard to know what’s true—especially when it comes to nutrition. For those seeking to live in harmony with God’s health principles, this can be overwhelming. This seminar will cut through the noise and provide clear, practical guidance to prevent and/or reverse the most common chronic diseases grounded in God's true health message.

CHILDREN'S REGISTRATION

Our Mission

To foster a personal connection with Christ, imbue the understanding of God's love, promote engagement with His teachings, encourage healthy choices, provide engaging educational activities, and cultivate a lifestyle of service and outreach.

Welcome to our enriching children’s program! Our devoted team shares a passionate commitment to nurturing a personal relationship between your child and Christ, offering them a profound understanding of His boundless love and compassion. Our initiative, rooted in faith, is all about helping each child recognize that they are individually cherished by God. We aspire to create an environment where they can experience His kindness and mercy, inspiring a transformative journey towards growing in His image.

Every year, our dedicated leaders invest countless hours into carefully crafting the program’s structure. We ask for divine guidance, selecting stories and activities that will deeply touch each child’s heart and mind. Our staff members don’t just see themselves as guides; they strive to build meaningful relationships with the children, hoping that through these interactions, the love and kindness of Christ shines brightly.

We warmly invite you to join us in this mission, contributing your prayers for the success of these children’s gatherings. Together, we can create an unforgettable spiritual experience for your child.

Registration Process for Children

Aged 0-12

Registration not only makes it possible for your child to attend programming designed specifically for their age but also helps security. If something happens to your child, security can find you through their wristband number and the information provided during registration. Whether you are at Soquel just for the day or for the whole camp meeting experience, your child must be registered.

Pre-registration

For a smoother, more convenient experience, we encourage preregistration. Children who have been registered through cccregistration.org can go to our "will call" table to get wristbands.

If you haven’t preregistered, please use the provided QR Code to register your children. Then proceed to the Children’s Registration Booth to finalize your registration and receive wristbands.

Easy Steps to Register Your Child

1. Eligibility: All children from birth to 12 years old are required to be registered.

2. Register: Register your child(ren) at cccregistration.org or use the QR code on this page. Then proceed to the Children's Registration booth to get your wristbands.

3. Wristbands: Upon completion of the registration, a color-coded wristband will be given to both the child and the parent.

4. Parental Identification: Parents will also receive corresponding numbers that need to be shown at the division tent when picking up their Kindergarten or Primary aged child(ren).

Rules for Safety

To maintain a secure environment, we have implemented several safety measures.

• Children must wear wristbands at all times.

• Parents who have misplaced their pickup number must present their approved photo ID at the registration booth to obtain a new number before picking up their child(ren).

• Only a parent or guardian named during the registration process is allowed to pick up a child.

Age Specific Program

Each division leader prepares a program designed specifically for your child. This makes the program more impactful for the child. It also makes it easier for staff to relate to the hundreds of children that come to each division. Please respect the process and truthfully give your child’s age. If the division director has noticed your child isn't engaging in the program on an ongoing basis due to being too young or too old, they will explain the situation with you and ask that your child be placed in their proper division.

Wristbands

BEGINNERS: Birth–3 yrs. Yellow Wristband

KINDERGARTEN: 4 yrs.–6 yrs. Red Wristband

PRIMARY: 7 yrs.–9 yrs. Green Wristband

JUNIORS*: 10 yrs.–12 yrs. Blue Wristband

Parent/Guardian: Gray Wristband

*Juniors may leave at the end of the meeting without parent pickup.

Forgotten Angels

Due to the hustle and bustle of camp meeting, some children aren’t picked up until very late. This only causes distress for the child and for the staff (who need a break before preparing your child’s next meeting). Fifteen minutes after each child’s program ends, all children not picked up will be taken to the “Forgotten Angels Station” located at the Children’s Registration Booth after morning and afternoon programs or in the Primary Tent after the evening program. If after 30 minutes the child is still not picked up, security will be notified.

Wristband Replacement

In case of a lost or broken wristband, replacements can be obtained at the Children’s Registration Booth. The first replacement is free, and for subsequent replacements, a donation will be requested. If a parent has lost their number, a new band will be issued after they present their approved photo ID to the registration team.

On-Site Registration Location & Times

The Children’s Registration Booth is located north of the Main Auditorium in front of the Juniors Tent.

Weekdays: 8:00–11:30 AM; 1:30–4:30 PM; 6:00–6:45 PM Sabbath: 8:00 AM–1:15 PM; 2:30–5:30 PM; 6:00–6:45 PM

¡Bienvenidos a nuestro enriquecedor programa infantil!

EVANGELISM REPORT

2025: RESTORED

There is something deeply powerful about hallowed grounds—a place where stories of sacrifice, revival, and calling still echo through the trees and the tents of Soquel. For generations, men and women have come here not only to worship, but to be awakened— to the gospel, to mission, to their calling. And now, in 2025, we gather once more—not to repeat the past, but to be restored by it. Restored in spirit. Restored in purpose. Restored in passion for the harvest yet to come.

This year, we’re not just planning programs or counting outcomes— we’re seeking a deeper work. A work that begins in our hearts, spills into our churches, and spreads across our communities. Evangelism isn’t an event; it’s a lifestyle—rooted in wholeness, driven by love, and sustained by the Spirit. This is our moment. Restored and recommitted, we move forward—together.

Decisions for Christ

In the past year, nearly 700 precious souls made their decision for Jesus through baptisms and professions of faith across Central California. Every testimony, every changed life, is a witness to the Spirit’s gentle, persistent work in homes, churches, and communities. These are not just numbers—they are names. Faces. Stories. Each one represents someone restored by the gospel and now part of God's end-time movement. And we believe this is only the beginning.

Church Planting Momentum

This year, God has continued to expand His kingdom across Central California through new church plants and growing congregations. From Bakersfield to Madera, and other areas in between, we’ve witnessed fresh expressions of faith taking root. Several companies have moved toward or reached full church status, marking a significant milestone in their journey. This isn’t just numerical growth—it’s spiritual momentum. As communities gather to worship, witness, and work together, we see the fruit of restoration: churches built not only with vision, but with staying power.

The HopeNOW Movement

In the fall of 2024, the Central California Conference launched a bold, Spirit-led initiative—HopeNOW—a coordinated evangelism movement that reached across cities, languages, and generations. With the powerful partnership of leaders like Pastor Ted Wilson (General Conference President), Dr. Alex Bryant (North American Division President), and pastors and evangelists from across the Division, thousands heard the clear call of Christ’s soon return. The results? Lives transformed, churches

energized, and scores joining this incredible movement of destiny. HopeNOW wasn’t just a series—it was a signal. A declaration that the harvest is now, and we are moving together, restored and ready.

Equipping the Called

Throughout 2024, Arise & Go and other training events echoed across our conference, offering intentional opportunities to equip both the young and the seasoned for frontline gospel ministry. From rural churches to urban centers, the call was the same: Everyone has something to give. Whether through preaching, health outreach, small group leadership, or digital evangelism, men and women, youth and elders, discovered that

A Time Like No Other

God has entrusted each of us with unique gifts—and now is the time to use them. These moments of preparation weren’t just about skill—they were about calling. And as each session ended, something deeper began: the restoration of confidence, purpose, and shared mission.

We are living in a world that’s shifting faster than we can track it. But amid all the change, one truth remains unchanged: Jesus is coming soon—sooner than ever before. As Seventh-day Adventists, we believe we’ve been entrusted with a message of hope that the world is desperate to hear. And now, more than ever, is the time to invest in sharing that truth.

Our Central California territory includes nearly 10 million people, many of whom have never had a real opportunity to know Jesus for themselves. That must change. Through your gifts—whether large or small—we are committed to proclaiming God's final message in relevant, practical, and Spirit-led ways.

These offerings will help launch new initiatives, empower creative ministry opportunities, and expand our reach into previously untapped regions— especially among the well-educated and unreached populations of Silicon Valley and other spiritually dry regions.

We’re not asking for routine generosity. We’re inviting you to join a movement. A mission. A cause that echoes into eternity. Give because the gospel still works. Give because people still need Jesus. Give because time is short—and hope cannot wait.

Restored & Recommissioned

As we look ahead to what God is preparing for 2025 and beyond, we do so with hearts full of gratitude, eyes fixed on Jesus, and hands ready to work. May this be the year we step forward—restored and recommissioned—to reach the harvest, together.
