Purpose: This Emergency Action Plan (EAP) outlines the procedures to follow in the event of an emergency during the camp meeting. The goal is to ensure the safety and security of all attendees.
General Guidelines:
1. Stay Calm: Keeping calm is essential for effective response and communication.
2. Onsite Security & Medical Contact:
• Security Station (Phone 831-464-4902 and Radio 480.125)
• An onsite doctor and medical team are available for immediate assistance.
3. Emergency Contacts:
• Police/Fire/Medical: Dial 911
• Onsite Security Team: Notify immediately after calling 911
Is it Life-Threatening Emergency
YES No
• Action: Call 911.
• Notify: Inform the onsite security team and medical team immediately.
• First Aid: The onsite medical team will provide immediate medical assistance.
Communication Plan:
• Report: Notify the onsite security or medical team with details.
• Assessment: The onsite security or medical team will assess the situation.
• Action: Follow the guidance provided by the onsite security or medical team.
• Emergency Alerts: The onsite security team will send emergency alerts via text and email by Security.
• Information Dissemination: Important alerts will be communicated via PastorsLine text messages and Google Group emails.

Specific Emergency Scenarios:
1. Medical Emergencies:
• Action: Call 911.
• Notify: Inform the onsite security team and medical team immediately.
• First Aid: The onsite medical team will provide immediate medical assistance.
2. Fire:
• Evacuate: Proceed to the nearest exit and move to the designated assembly point.
• Call 911: After reaching safety, call 911.
• Notify: Inform the onsite security team and medical team.
• Alert: Alerts are sent via text and email by security.
3. Suspicious Activity/Intruder:
• Action: Contact the onsite security team immediately.
• Call 911: If the situation escalates or poses an immediate threat.
• Avoid Confrontation: Do not approach the suspicious individual.
4. Missing Person (Including Adults and Children):
• Report: Notify the onsite security team with details.
• Alert: Notifications will be sent via text and email, including a photo, by security upon receiving parental consent for emergency photo dissemination.
• Search: Assist in searching the immediate area if it is safe to do so.
• Call 911: If the person is not found promptly.
5. Active Shooter:
• Run: If safe to do so, evacuate the area.
• Hide: If evacuation is not possible, hide in a secure location.
• Fight: As a last resort, if in immediate danger, attempt to incapacitate the shooter.
• Call 911: Provide as much information as possible.
• Notify: Inform the onsite security team and medical team.
• Alert: Alerts are sent via text and email by security.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Security Team: Coordinate response efforts and liaise with emergency services.
• Onsite Medical Team: Provide initial assistance and manage the situation until emergency responders arrive.
• Camp Meeting Staff: Assist with crowd control and ensure attendees follow the emergency procedures.
