CC BIKER & MOTORSPORTS
Ohio Bike Week
We took a trip from California to Ohio to visit my daughter and grandsons, and did our best to get to Sandusky, Ohio before Bike Week was over. Well, we arrived in town late on Friday afternoon. We stayed at my daughter’s house and rested from 3 long days of travel. I sat down and told my grandsons where I was going the next morning and two of them said I wanna go with you in the morning. So of course, we made a plan for them to come along and learn a few things about what their Lil papa does. That evening we went out for dinner as a family; we went to a restaurant right across the street from Mad River Harley Davidson. It was awesome to see about a thousand people there. I couldn’t even try to count all
the vendor booths, it seemed like it went on forever from my view. My grandsons were kinda amazed to see so many Motorcycles and traffic control in place to direct folks where to ride in and I was amazed myself on how well organized they were for the huge crowd coming in. The next morning on our way over to Mad River Harley Davidson we seen hundreds of bikers headed in the same direction as we were. There was actually 2 events going on that morning. 1 at Mad River and another down by the pier in Sandusky near Lake Erie. So, hard to know which event they were headed to, most I am sure were attending both events. We walked around and seen about 25 booths. Mad River Harley was packed

14th Annual 5 Diamonds Visalia Rescue Mission Run

5 Diamonds WRITER
With a total of over $23,000 raised through sponsorship of the 2025 run we call it a blessing. The Visalia Rescue Mission survives on donations only. The 5 Diamonds have over the past 14 years raised over $200,000 for support of the mission. Hard work goes into this run each year starting in January and through the month of June.

The 5 Diamonds, with businesses and Individuals from the community make this a successful event each year. Over 100 motorcycles showed up this year to take part in the run. With all the people that stepped up to lend a helping hand we enjoyed good food, drinks, and plenty of raffle prizes. It is always good to see people from the community come together for a worthy cause.

Ohio Bike Week
Continued from page 1
with bikers. There had to be at least 3 to 4000 bikes there. There were so many that they started parking them behind the Walmart. We spent a few hours enjoying talking to others. Looking at items for sale and walking around looking at all the motorcycles. My Grandsons were amazed at how many people show up for this event and everyone was so friendly to one another.
We had a great time while teaching my grandsons a little bit about bikers and I was telling them how much I have learnt over the last 10 years while running CC Biker and Motorsports Newspaper. I have met thousands of people that I never would have met if I had not decided to start our paper. I have been so blessed to meet all these Bikers, and they have changed my way of looking at Bikers. I hope to attend Ohio Bike Week again sometime.
