We consigned a heifer to our sale that the Jerrels family raised from a full-sib embryo that was named the Supreme Champion Female at the Georgia Junior Beef Futurity. A full-sib steer was also named Champion Simmental and 5th Overall Steer. The Stalvey family showed a heifer out of this mating that was 3rd overall at the GA national. The next year they raised a steer that was also a top five champ in Perry as a result of a full sib embryo purchase. It’s very rare that a mating can produce champion caliber steers and heifers, but this is one of those matings.
