Absence Management Quick Start Guide and Absence Management Mobile Quick Start Guide

Ever wondered why you are unable to enter or edit your absence? The ability to enter your absences depends on your school site cut off time which is usually 8 hours before the absence starts

If absence is unapproved - The system will allow you to upload file attachments and can edit the Absence Reason, Notes to Administrator, and Notes to Substitute fields. If absence is approved - The system will allow you to only upload file attachments. You cannot edit anything in the absence itself

Note that once your absence cut off time has passed the system will not allow you to enter your absence. If this happens please contact your site secretary to help.

Phishing Email Campaign Against CVUSD Accounts

In the digital age, cybersecurity is vital, especially when opening emails. Emails can carry malicious content like viruses, malware, and phishing scams that can steal personal information, compromise data, or control your device. Exercise caution with emails from unknown senders or containing suspicious attachments or links Implement cybersecurity best practices like verifying sender identity, avoiding unsolicited emails, and using antivirus software to safeguard devices and online privacy.

Within the past week, the CVUSD was the target of a phishing attack. The attackers utilized email clicks and compromised staff and student email accounts to carry out their malicious activity. During this attack, over 25,000 emails were disseminated through the district's domain

To effectively combat and mitigate such attacks, it is imperative to exercise caution, maintain diligence, and employ robust passwords.
