RANSOMWARE!
Ransomware is a form of malware designed to encrypt files on a device rendering them unusable, usually until a ransom payment is made. Ransomware gains access to a device through downloaded links. The most common is through phishing emails with attachments and links. Phishing emails are designed to trick users by adding various small facts either a “known” sender, work related information, family/friend emergencies, as well as unbelievable offers of material goods
Be careful with your emails and use your best judgment when opening attachments Don’t fall for tricks and offers

Neptune Navigate
Neptune Navigate is CVUSD’s new Student Citizenship Software for students at all grade levels. This software has pre-made easy to give lessons and assessments for your students. All classrooms are pre-rostered in the teacher dashboard. The teacher dashboard will also give you progress as well as assessment scores of your students. You can assign students lessons for work at home as well as in-class technology learning. There are grade-specific lessons for some of the following topics:
Digital Citizenship Media Literacy
Cyberbullying Data Privacy
Digital Footprint
