JOB POSITION AVAILABLE FOR THE BiKBBI Position: Inspector Accountable to: The Inspection Officer Location(s): Wales Contract type: Upon request, Self-Employed Consultant, (QUOTE: INSP/0219) Background: The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) was established in 2006 with the purpose of ‘raising standards, promoting education and supporting key stakeholders within the industry, to include professional installers,’ retailers, manufacturers and consumers’. Job Purpose: Our self-employed inspectors are kitchen, bedroom and/or bathroom installation specialists – either experienced installation managers or installers with a proven track record of operation within the industry. Our inspectors are responsible for providing ‘Expert Witness’ services and the delivery of audits and Section 35 (Civil Proceedings) reports for use with Alternative Dispute Resolution.

The successful candidate(s) will have in depth technical experience in all aspects of kitchen and/or bedroom and/or bathroom installation. Additional qualification in gas / electrical / tiling / fabrication desirable, but not essential. Candidates must have superior customer service focus and great communication skills. Our inspectors will receive full training, but must have basic IT skills and excellent English, spelling & grammar ability. Inspectors report to the inspection Officer.
