BiKBBI News The BiKBBI has launched the new contactless registration / ID card exclusively for registered members and it’s set to help them win business, demonstrate compliance and their professional, accredited status. Available to order online now, the new contactless card will replace the existing ID card, with a host of new features. The new cards come with a FREE lanyard, FREE ID Card Holder, FREE van sticker, FREE van air freshener and FREE postage! The cards also replace the leaflets previously available to members. This reduces contact, environmental impact and of course removes the risk of virus transmission.

So how do the new cards work?

CONTACTLESS HAS ARRIVED… Contactless identification Most new phones accept ‘NFC tap technology’ – Simply tap the new ID card on customers smartphones, hold for a second and the phone will link to a dedicated page on BiKBBI website that explores the benefits of using a member of a government sanctioned institute.

Traditional identification Members present their new ID card to customers and demonstrate professional registration to The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation. It’s how members separate their business from all others. It’s great peace of mind for customers.

QR identification NFC tap technology doesn’t work on older phones, so the QR code option may work. The customer should open the camera app on their smartphone. The camera should focus on the QR code and then will link to the dedicated web page.

NOTE: Members will automatically receive a new contactless card when they renew membership, however they can upgrade their existing card earlier by ordering below. Note that cards are only available to current members and associates.
