WHY MODULAR? The goal with our modular accommodation is to create sustainable and cost effective living spaces for multiple different users. Modular building techniques is an easy way to quickly create the space you are looking for, providing you with everything you need.

We believe in ‘minimal living’, meaning that everything in a space is there for a reason. This means that our spaces can be very small and still provide everything you need. This goes hand in hand with our vision to be as cost effective and sustainable as possible by using as little material as we can.

The shape of Trapezoid’s standard sized module enables it to be stacked and arranged in multiple different ways. Use the module on its own or combine it with other modules to create larger spaces.

- CREATE DIFFERENT SPACES DEPENDING ON YOUR USERS. The different sized spaces you can create with Trapezoid’s module means that you can customize the living space in a way that is most suitable for your users. Add an extra kitchen wall if you want a larger kitchen or divide the space inside using walls from our wall system - you decide!

CREATE YOUR OWN PERFECT MODULAR ACCOMOMMODATION UNIT The concept for Trapezoid Modular Accommodation Unit is based on two different sized walls, a floor panel and a ceiling panel. You as a customer can then purchase the amount of components you need in order to create the space you are looking for.

USE OUR STANDARD MODULE TO CREATE THE SPACE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR You can also choose to buy Trapezoid’s standard sized module, perfect for student accommodation or one bedroom flats. The module is based on the walls from our wall system, which also makes them customizable. Combine the module with other modules to create larger spaces.

EASY TO TRANSPORT. Because our module is made out of kit of parts it is easy to take a part and transport.

TRIANGULAR SHAPES ENABLES NEW OPPORTUNITIES. The triangular spaces can be used as access routes, storage, balconies.

OUR MATERIALS TIMBER FRAME STRUCTURE Timber makes up the base of the structure, a strong structure with low environmental impact.

ECOLOGICAL WOOD WOOL INSULATION Our walls are insulated using Wood wool, an eco-friendly material with high heat storage capacity and excellent acoustic qualities.

INTERNAL ELEMENTS USING RECLAIMED WOOD Internal elements are mainly built out of sheet material composed of timber and wood waste. We believe in using as much recycled wood as possible.

SUSTAINABILITY Our number one priority with our modular system is sustainability. We have therefore looked at new building techniques and new sustainable material to use for both internal elements and structure in our design.

We believe that using wood is a new, more sustainable way of building and is therefore the main material in our structure. Studies have shown that constructing a building using wood halves the environmental impact compared to if the building was constructed using standard building materials. Its strong, flexible and lightweight meaning that it is easier to transport and therefore lowers carbon emissions.

By building with Trapezoid you are therefore doing both yourself and the environment a favor.
