In this role, he will provide continuous oversight to our project team, ensuring that sufficient resources are committed to the project as necessary to guarantee a successful outcome. As Vice President and Division Manager, Neal will manage the project team. During construction, Neal will provide guidance and be responsible for overseeing all project procurement, scheduling, communication, cost control and record keeping. The majority of Neal’s experience has been on occupied sites, requiring extensive logistical coordination. Many of the projects have been fast track or fast paced projects requiring expert coordination of a compressed schedule. A leader and motivator, he will communicate the urgency of schedule and coordination of trades to the team while working to facilitate a safe, timely and successful project.
Tammy serves as a Business Development and Client Manager for Carroll Daniel. Her responsibility is developing relationships with our clients and ensuring customer satisfaction during and after construction. She has overseen over $1.7 billion in investment to Northeast Georgia and has a wealth of business and industry experience. Tammy is a former Senior Project Manager for the Georgia Department of Economic Development. She also previously worked on the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games and for the Coca-Cola Company.

NEW PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION FACILITY GEVEKO MARKINGS, INC. GAINESVILLE, GEORGIA Swedish firm Geveko Markings, which makes pavement markings used in road construction and for other applications, selected Carroll Daniel to design and build their new manufacturing center and North American headquarters in Hall County, Georgia. The 84,000 SF facility was built on 20 acres in the Gainesville Business Park utilizing tilt-wall construction. In addition to designing and building this fast-track project in only 9 months—2 months for design and 7 months for construction—Carroll Daniel also served as a program manager for the client, communicating across oceans and time zones. With such a tight timeline, every challenge was magnified, including mass rock in the building pad, designing for hazardous materials, and last-minute owner changes. The planning, communication, and collaboration of our project team overcame these challenges to successfully deliver the Geveko Markings Manufacturing Center & North American Headquarters on time and under budget with no safety incidents. The tilt-wall buildings were designed by Carroll Daniel’s in-house architects, making the construction document and shop drawing review process seamless and efficient. HEALTHIER CHOICE HEALTHIER CHOICE DALTON, GEORGIA Healthier Choice is a leading supplier of high-density carpet cushion. Carroll Daniel Construction worked in partnership with the owner to design-build the 200,000 SF light manufacturing warehouse and corporate offices building. The project was designed in-house by Carroll Daniel’s industrial design team. The building features an executive office suite on the mezzanine. A separate manufacturing office is located in the warehouse, which provides a secondary entrance for employees. A large shipping/ receiving office is a feature that streamlines in-bound and out-bound deliveries and provides a driver rest area. The tilt-wall concrete and structural steel warehouse includes 20 dock doors - with room for 54 future dockdoors, two roll-up door ramps, and trailer storage.

WAREHOUSE DISTRIBUTION FACILITY AUTO METAL DIRECT GAINESVILLE, GEORGIA Auto Metal Direct, a classic car parts distributor, selected Carroll Daniel to design and build a new 318,240 SF distribution/fulfillment center and showroom in Gainesville, GA as part of an important local economic development initiative. As a design-builder, the Carroll Daniel team worked in close partnership with the hands-on owner to incorporate changing design elements and build in unique features, such as casting the company’s logo into the exterior wall. Built utilizing concrete tilt-wall panel construction on a greenfield site, the project overcame challenges such as significant inclement weather, unsuitable soils, and utility availability in 11 months, on time and on budget.

The YANMAR EVO//CENTER brings together the elements of many diverse types of construction—industrial, corporate, commercial, educational—into one unique facility. With challenges including an extremely fast-track schedule, fluid design, unpredictable Georgia weather, and constructing a unique facility, the project team is proud to have delivered a jewel of sustainability, technology and collaboration, on budget and ahead of schedule. This project received a First Place Build Georgia Award, an ACI of Georgia Outstanding Achievement Award in the Low Rise Category, a CMAA Southeast Project Achievement Award, and the 2018 ASCE Georgia Award for Project of the Year in the Natural Environment.
