As the Director of Catering and Events, Becca Rice-Biswell has been with Carriage Club for more than 10 years. She is a Kansas City native, graduated from St. Teresa’s Academy and attended Rockhurst University. Becca has recently earned the Event and Wedding Planning Professional (EWP) certification through QC Career School and holds a Level-One Sommelier certification. She began her career and hospitality 20 years ago and has worked in Clubs, hotels, and restaurants. In her free time, Becca enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and son.
Director of Catering Executive Chef Welcome
Chef Jim Storm is a distinguished culinary professional, holding the prestigious title of Certified Executive Chef through the American Culinary Federation (ACF). As a member of the 2024 Culinary Olympic Team, Chef Storm showcased exceptional talent and dedication on the international stage. In recognition of his culinary excellence and leadership, he was honored as the 2025 Chef of the Year. Currently serving as the Executive Chef at the Carriage Club, Chef Storm and the culinary team continues to elevate the dining experience through innovation, skill, and an unwavering passion for the culinary arts.
David North is the General Manager and is an experienced team builder with a focused, goal oriented, hands-on mentality. Accomplished and extensive management career in exclusive hotel fine dining, resorts, and private club operations. He enjoys serving as a Board Advisor to Oklahoma State University Hospitality program, which he is an alumni.

A Culinary Attendant might be required depending on the food options you have picked. Most action stations, carving stations, and dessert action stations will require at least one attendant.

Cake Cutting
Carriage Club does not have an onsite bakery with the capacity wedding cakes. You are welcome to use a vendor of your choice for wedding cakes. Your Event Coordinator can also provide you a list of vendors we have worked with in the past. Carriage Club will charge a cake cutting fee of $2 per guest.
Wedding Ceremony
Wedding ceremonies accommodating up to 180 seated guests are available in our ballroom and ceremonies accommodating up to 80 seated guests are available in our living room. A $1,500 ceremony fee will apply which includes our standard chairs, set-up, tear down and flip of the space.
Polices
Member Sponsors:
Carriage Club is a private club. Every event requires a Member Sponsor.
Event Agreement and Deposits:
An event agreement must be signed and returned to the Club to guarantee a booking. A deposit equivalent to the room fee is required for each event. Deposits must be remitted with your event agreement. If no damages are incurred to Carriage Club property, the full deposit will be applied toward the food and beverage total. A booking is not considered confirmed until a deposit and event agreement are received. Deposits are non-refundable 90 days prior to an event.
Payments:
The balance of the event must be paid in full within 7 days of the event's conclusion If the balance is not paid in full by the last day of the month, it will be considered delinquent, and a penalty of 10% per month shall apply
Guarantees:
The host is responsible for communicating the guaranteed guest count to the Event Coordinator no less than (7) days prior to a scheduled event. This headcount will be used for set-up and billing purposes. If a guaranteed guest count is not communicated, the initial estimated number of guests may be used for billing and setup purposes. There will be a surcharge of 50% of the per-person cost or $25, whichever is higher, for each additional guest beyond the guaranteed count. This charge will be applicable anytime within (7) days prior to a scheduled event and will be charged in addition to food and beverage services.
Cancellations:
All cancellations are subject to a penalty depending on the date of cancellation according to the following;
180 days prior no penalty
179 days to 90 days prior 20% of estimated total, plus deposit
89 days to 60 days prior 30% of estimated total, plus deposit
59 days to 30 days prior 50% of estimated total, plus deposit
29 days to 7 days prior 75% of estimated total, plus deposit
7 days to date of event 100% of estimated total, plus deposit
Minimums:
Carriage Club requires a minimum food and beverage expenditure of $30 per person for daytime events (before 4:00 PM) and $50 per person for evening events (after 4:00 PM). This minimum does not include the room fee, service charges or other fees. If minimum expenditure is not met, the difference will be applied to the final bill.
Event Planning and Rental Equipment:
Any equipment or décor rental may be arranged through the Director of Catering.
Entertainment:
Should the volume from your group’s entertainment or public address system create a disturbance, The Club reserves the right to request the volume be lowered All music and/or entertainment will cease at 12:00 AM, midnight Entertainers and vendors must adhere to dress code and conduct at all times
Policies
Menu Selection and Pricing:
We will be happy to create a menu to fit your culinary needs One entrée selection is suggested for all parties. If a choice of two entrees is offered, the exact count for each entrée is to be submitted to the Club no later than (7) days before the event. Any additions or changes to the final entrée count within (7) days of the event will incur a surcharge of 50% of the per-person cost or $25, whichever is higher.
Food Tastings:
Complimentary tastings are available for wedding receptions with more than 100 guests. The Club will host the expenses for up to (4) guests with the following guidelines:
• select 3-4 hors d’eouvres
• select 1-2 salads or soups
• select 2-3 proteins
• select 3-4 side dishes
Tasting selections are subject to change based on seasonal availability Tastings must be scheduled at least three weeks in advance and will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 2:00 PM or Saturdays at 1:00 PM Availability for scheduling a tasting may be limited Additional tasting guests will be charged a minimum of $25 per additional attendee Tastings for non-wedding events will be scheduled on a case-by-case basis and charges will apply.
Service Charge:
A 25% service charge will be applied to all food and beverage totals.
Food and Beverage:
Members and guests may not bring food or beverage into the Club with the exception of special occasion cakes. Carriage Club must supply all food and beverage products. If leftover food is boxed to-go, a surcharge may apply.
Beverage Services and Last Call:
All beverage services, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, must be provided by Carriage Club Any beverages brought onto the premises will be subject to a $150 outside alcohol fine Last call will be given 30 minutes prior to the conclusion of bar service All beverage service must end no later than 12:00 AM, midnight for all events The service of alcohol may be suspended at the discretion of the management staff The Club reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to anyone at anytime Members and guests may be asked to provide identification Members or guests without identification will not be served alcoholic beverages
