I started my Manager Minute on the evening of August 22nd. It was a perfect night at the Carriage Club, with live music playing on the pool deck, members laughing, and everyone having a good time while the staff took care of everyone’s needs. To top it off, many were watching the Chiefs preseason game, completing the evening for our Kansas City Chiefs fans! The Coach House was filled with vibrant energy that we all knew the space was meant to have!
On to business…
The last day the pool will be open is September 7th, which will feature a pup swim from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM. After the pup swim, the baby pool and the trainer pool will be drained.

To accommodate our lap swimmers, we will allow only lap swimming for our members and there will be no pool staff present. The pool will be exclusively open for lap swimmers, and no other swimming activities will be permitted. If there are any issues with kids or families wanting to swim, we will close the pool.
Lap swimmers have requested an extended season since I began my role as General Manager. Let’s respect their request and allow them to swim while the weather permits. Thank you for your understanding!
Dining Hours…
The Coach House will be closed on September 8th and will remain closed on Sundays and Mondays until the ice season, which typically begins around the third week of November.
The Coach House will be open for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday until the start of the ice season.
The Clubhouse will continue its regular schedule, opening Thursday through Saturday at 3:00 PM for happy hour, with dinner service starting at 5:00 PM.
This summer has been marked by significant progress and positive vibes. I’m confident that our renovations will continue to be a source of pride for our club, marking the beginning of amazing things to come.

Registration for the 2025-26 Figure Skating Season at Carriage Club is now open! Group classes will again be held on Wednesday evenings between 4:30-8:00pm and Saturday mornings between 8:45am-1:00pm. Each level of class will be offered on each day and you can sign your skater up for one or both days. Each skater MUST attend a measurement session in The Warming Room on either September 7 between 2:00-4:00PM or September 10 between 4:00-7:00PM.

For the safety and enjoyment of all Carriage Club Members and Staff, kindly adhere to the following:
Trainers and Therapists not employed by Carriage Club are not permitted in the Fitness Center.
Each Member, and any guest of a Member, must sign in to the Fitness Center.
No person under the age of 15 years is allowed in the Fitness Center without parental super unless that person is attending a special c training.
Adult Members have priority to use all eq and/or workout spaces.
Members attending a class have priority o non-class attendees to use all equipment workout spaces.
Adult Members may invite an adult gu years of age or older) to use the Fitnes in their company, subject to a guest fe Children (younger than 18 years) are n allowed as guests and not allowed to b guests. An adult guest accompanied by a may participate in group or individual class, subject to the relevant charge for that class, plus the guest fee.
ADDITIONAL RULE FOR LOCKER ROOMS (MEN AND WOMEN):
Locker Room access is strictly limited to adults who are college-age or above. All other persons may use alternative restroom facilities.
Appropriate attire, and appropriate footwear (except in designated classes such as Pilates and Yoga), are required. Shirts, tops, and hemmed sportswear are appropriate attire. Flipflops are not appropriate footwear except for the Pilates studio.
CONSEQUENCES FOR FITNESS CENTER OR LOCKER ROOM VIOLATIONS:
1ST OFFENSE:
The offender will be issued a warning and requested to comply with the Rules and Regulations.
Weekdays (Monday-Friday) from 5:00-7:00 PM are reserved for adult Members only, unless a nonadult Member is working with a trainer.
All users must clean equipment and/or machines after they have used them.
All users must return weights and equipment to their proper storage locations.
2ND OFFENSE:
The offender will be asked to leave the Fitness Center.
3RD OFFENSE:
The offender will be referred to the Carriage Club General Manager (GM) for possible further action.
