I absolutely love this event! Literally, by now I am the shave ice master! It was so much fun being able to make shave ice. Plus we got to work next to Townsend egg waffles which paired up so well with the red bean and condensed milk from the shaved ice section! So yum!
- SHERRY LINTaiwan Festival was pretty fun I chose this event because I heard of all the fun members had at Passport to Taiwan so I wanted to go and experience it It rained periodically and at one point, it rained so hard that the streets flooded like a river The interesting part was the people who participated in the festival, Having a taste of Taiwan culture whether it was drinks or food I enjoyed getting free shaved ice and snacks. I look forward to the next Taiwan Fes or Passport to Taiwan in the future!
We had members working on holding poles, setting up and working at C BAO At C Bao we were in charge of taking orders, packaging orders, making drinks, and just providing great service! C Bao also serves great food! Their #1 is their Taiwanese pork bun and duck bun! The best part was during the event the lady cut the duck in front of everyone which attracted many customers! Sherry and Ryan were working on the dumpling and drink station while I was working in the Bao area! All in all you guys should definitely check out Japan Fes and be on the lookout for C Bao! This is my first japan fes and definitely not the last! This is a great event and it teaches you how to socialize! Had a lot of fun!
- FAUSTINA LINOmg Japan Fes at East Village was literally stunning! They had so many more different food vendors and everything was so delicious! We worked at c Bao and helped them out. Plus we were able to trade food with other vendors another plus!
- SHERRY LINDuring this event, we helped out with setting up board games, food, and drinks for people who came to this event We helped out with making cookies and iced tea for people Overall this was a fun event and we got free school supplies at the end which were donated to NYSoM.
