As a Retired CMS Member, your membership dues change to: Retired - $150.00 with meals (includes dinner at CME meetings) or Retired - $50.00 without meals (you are billed for dinner if you attend a CME meeting). It is your choice. Do you plan to change the status of your Florida Medical License to Retired? You must formally request Retired status with the Board of Medicine (BOM) for your medical licensure and pay a fee rather than just not renewing. The penalty for being late in requesting a Retired status change with the BOM can be $515.00. Remember, be sure to let CMS know of your change in status.
