Welcome to camp…

Who’s ready for summer? Summer camp is a great time to connect with old friends or make new friends, learn new skills or enhance existing ones, and discover new passions.

At Camp Cannon, we specialize in weekly enrichment sessions focused on Arts & Academics, College Prep, SciTech, and Sports for students from ages 3 to 18. Campers learn while having fun on our 65acre campus which includes state-of-the-art classroom facilities, a performing arts center, two gymnasiums, a dance studio, a strength and conditioning center, athletic fields, track, tennis courts, and wooded wetlands.

Programs

Camp Cannon programs are open to all children, whether they attend private or public schools or are home-schooled. The 2023 Camp season runs for seven weeks from June 12th through August 4. Camp Cannon will NOT be running camps the week of July 3-7. Most camp sessions are three hours in the morning or three hours in the afternoon. There are also full-day sessions available. Pricing starts at $200 per halfday session. Camp Cannon will offer Before and After camp care. Early care is available from 7:30 until 9:00 a.m., and late care is available from 4:00 until 5:30 p.m., both for additional fees.

Campers may stay with us during lunchtime from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m., if indicated at the time of registration. Campers are supervised while they eat, and then allowed to play until they are picked up or until their afternoon session begins. This is designed to add flexibility for busy schedules.

The safety of your child is our number one concern while they are in our care. From drop-off to pick-up, you can be assured that your child is in a safe environment. All our instructors must pass a background check and our facility is secured through a comprehensive security system. Additionally, we will have one of our Cannon School Registered Nurses and a certified Athletic Trainer on-site during camp sessions to address needs such as medications and to handle any injuries that may occur.

For more detailed information, please be sure to visit our FAQs page at www.CampCannon.com. Thank you for allowing us to share in your child’s summer experiences.

Some popular camps fill very shortly after registration opens. Others may cancel when student counts are too low to continue to hold registration open.

Q. When are payments due?

A. An initial 50% deposit is due at the time of registration to secure your child’s spot in a session. The remaining payment is due by May 15, 2023. Campers who have not paid in full are not permitted to attend camp sessions. Registrations initiated after May 15 must be paid in full.

Q. What if a camp does not receive enough registrations?

A. If it’s necessary to cancel a camp, Cannon will do so as early as possible, so there is an opportunity to select another session to attend. If Camp Cannon cancels the session due to low enrollment and no alternative session is chosen, a full refund will be given.

Q. What if I need to cancel?

A. Registration fees ($25) are non-refundable. Session deposits are fully refunded if the cancellation is made before May 15, 2023. On or after May 15, 2023, no refunds are offered. There are no exceptions

Q. What if I want to change a session after registering?

A. Changes and transfers of registration are free of charge before May 15. On or after May 15, there is a $25 per transaction charge on all transfers that are not a result of a camp cancellation.

LUNCH & SNACKS

Campers are given a snack break during each camp session. Campers may bring a snack from home or purchase from our camp store; items are 75 cents each. Campers staying through the lunch hour, noon to 1 PM, (if indicated at the time of registration), may bring a packed lunch, or may purchase hot lunch for the week through Camp Cannon. A different meal is offered each day of the week, with a 2-week rotating menu. The cost is $34 per week per camper (except Session 2 which is only 4 days, $27 per camper). Simply register for the meal option with the week(s) of camp. On Fridays, all campers staying through lunch for the week will receive pizza at no additional charge, regardless of the lunch option chosen for that week.

– Ice Cream – Tuesdays & Thursdays at no additional charge.
