If your child is unhappy with his/her choice or their schedule has changed, you may cancel a class after the first week. Once the student has attended the second class, we are unable to cancel billing and full payment is required. Please note that you will be billed for the one class attended at the per class cost.

A. Each class has its own minimum and maximum number of students. Classes that do not reach the minimum number required will be canceled and no charges will be applied. Grades Day Time Cost JrK – K Mondays 3:00 – 4:00 $16/class; $96 total Wrestling FUNdamentals Offered by: Solomon Fleckman Wrestlers will learn about mankind’s oldest sport through stories, games, experiences, and situational wrestling. They will also work to develop balance, flexibility, and body awareness through tumbling and physical challenges. Emphasis will be on FUN, learning and growth!

Grades Day Time Cost 4th - 6th Mondays 3:00 – 5:00 $16/class; $96 total STEAMy Explorations Offered by: Rendi Powers If your student is curious and enjoys building, making, creating, and loves to learn, STEAMy Explorations is for them! Students will have the opportunity to explore & complete projects incorporating science, technology, engineering, art and math as they encounter fun hands on learning each week!

A: You can sign up anytime during the sign up period August 18th –August 26th. Additionally, we accept late registrations before week 2 of a session, if the class has open spots. Please note that class fees will not be prorated. We encourage online registration as they have a date and time stamp on them which is useful for popular classes. Cannon School strives to provide quality after school Beyond the Bell (BTB) programming: classes for our JrK through 12th grade students; private music lessons for our K through 12th grade students; and SAT & ACT Prep Courses for students grades 10 12. This exciting session will introduce students to the world of science, technology, engineering, and math by exploring fascinating topics like space inventions, animals, architecture and more! Students will be building motorized LEGO models to demonstrate STEM concepts while using their talents and imaginataion.

Q. How many students are accepted in each BTB class?

This is a perfect way for our students to become interested in running for fun, training for a 5K, preparing for cross country, or cross training to complement other sports. Students will run approx. three miles each week - on campus. Students will run indoors during inclement weather.

Tuesday Drama Kids NEW PROGRAM Offered by: Drama Kids International Children are natural born performers! Drama Kids uses this dramatic excitement to build self confidence, creativity, and speaking/communication skills. Our age appropriate drama curriculum is fast paced and includes, creative movement, music, drama games, imagination, and simple acting activities. Parents are invited to attend an informal presentation - TBA

Grades Day Time Cost JrK – 1st Tuesdays 3:00 4:15 $16/class; $128 total Gooey and Gross Science NEW PROGRAM Offered by: Mad Science Kidz Through the course of Gooey and Gross Science, students will examine the science behind chemistry and more! Your Mad Scientists will explore movies and illusion, nutrition and taste, and experiment with some kitchen chemistry. So, if you have a Mad Scientists at your house, you’ll want to register them for this fun and exciting class.

Have your student build and explore in our crazy contraptions session that really works your brain. Students use LEGO Bricks, axels, pulleys, gears, and more to create fun and interactive motorized, battery operated Lego models during each class. This session is all about the fun of doing something with what you have built. Students will learn and play with LEGO Crazy Contraption models such as our spinning top, optical spinner, battle tops, 3 in a row & so many more.

Each week we will be playing something different. Whether it’s soccer, scooter games, floor hockey, parachute fun, volleyball, 4 square, basketball, tee ball, tennis, cornhole, water slide, sprinkler fun or tag games, just to name a few…these students will have a ball, while being active with their friends. Take a journey through performing arts while learning various dance genres & techniques along with cheer basics, jumps, chants and more in a fun filled, innovative, and encouraging environment. This fun and active session will have your student moving and grooving and playing all sorts of super fun games! Each week we will be playing something different. Whether it’s soccer, scooter games, floor hockey, parachute fun, volleyball, 4 square, basketball, tee ball, tennis, cornhole, water slide, sprinkler fun or tag games, just to name a few…these students will have a ball, while being active with their friends. All games and activities will be age appropriate.

Our chess curriculum addresses various skill levels (beginner, experienced, advanced) and is taught by a U.S. Chess Federation rated and certified coach. This program has launched players who compete at the local, state, and national levels while enjoying the art and science of chess! Analytical thinking skills and problem solving techniques are emphasized as a tool for learning. Students will be assigned based on their experience/skill level: Chess 101 is perfect for those new to the game of chess; Chess 102 develops tactical and positional skills.

Grades Day Time Cost 1st – 3rd Thursdays 3:00 4:15 $16/class; $128 total TaeKwonDo Offered by: Concord TaeKwonDo TaeKwonDo is a life long form of exercise and self defense. Students are taught the basics of TaeKwonDo, including forms and sparring techniques. Students of all levels are welcome.

Princeton Review ACT & SAT Prep Cannon offers The Princeton Review ACT and SAT Prep Courses during the school year. Courses are open to both Cannon and non Cannon students.
