The RISE Program is designed for early career individuals looking for impactful leadership development opportunities to propel their careers. During the program, RISE students gain an understanding of how mission-driven, social impact organizations function, develop essential leadership and professional skills, and engage in mentoring relationships and networking.

At INP, we know that the learning experience in the classroom is strengthened by the diversity of our participants, and through our programs we are working to create a social impact sector which is more effective, innovative, equitable, and connected. Our cohorts represent individuals from a wide array of fields and roles, from education to the environment, human services to organizing, and finance to fundraising. Interested in learning how to craft a compelling grant application? On Tuesday, November 19th the National Benevolent Association and Obra Hispana are partnering to offer a Grant Writing 101 webinar. This bilingual webinar will provide you with the essentials to grant writing. The event will take place at 7:00pm CT and is free to attend, but you must register in advance at https://buff.ly/4gPYFau.

FASPE is an intensive, two-week study program in professional ethics and ethical leadership. FASPE is neither a Holocaust studies course, nor a genocide prevention program. Rather, the curriculum is designed to challenge Fellows to critically examine constructs, current developments and issues that raise ethical concerns in their professions in contemporary settings in which they work.

FASPE Clergy & Religious Leaders applicants must either be enrolled in graduate school preparing for work as a religious leader at the time of application or they must be working as a religious leader with a relevant graduate degree received May 2020 or after. Those applying as students may be studying at a seminary, divinity school, rabbinical school, Muslim chaplaincy program or other graduate program related to religious OR theological training.

Applicants do not need to be ordained or planning to pursue ordination to be eligible. Applicants from all faith traditions are encouraged.

Applications for the 2025 FASPE Fellowships are being accepted through January 2, 2025

This two-year residency program is for seminary graduates who hold particular promise as pastors and wish to develop their ministerial skills under dedicated supervision in a large church setting. This is an ordained position in which Resident Pastors serve and learn alongside the staff and congregation of Myers Park Presbyterian Church.

The program begins August 1 and lasts two years. Applicants must be on track for ordination in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and hold the M. Div. Degree. Preference will be given to recent seminary graduates and those who have completed a unit of Clinical Pastoral Education.

Myers Park Presbyterian is committed to our partnerships with non-profit organizations and agencies throughout Charlotte. The congregation engages this wider community through service opportunities and financial support.

The NLM Associate Fellowship Program is open to U.S. library and information science professionals, as well as graduate students completing their degrees. Up to five qualified Associate Fellows may be selected. The fellowship will be remote for 2025-2026.

Qualification Requirements:

Master's degree in an ALA-accredited library/information science program, earned by June of the year of appointment or within 5 years. Undergraduate degrees can be in any major. United States citizenship. Desirable, but not essential: Work experience in a library or health sciences environment. Demonstrated interest or experience in leadership.

The purpose of the fellowship award is to ensure longterm support for research within the National Woman’s Party collection and other unparalleled women’s history collections at the Library of Congress into the future. Generally, one fellowship will be awarded annually (with a stipend of up to $2,000) to be used to cover travel to and from Washington, D.C., overnight accommodations, as well as other research expenses. Awards will assist fellows in their ongoing scholarly research and writing projects on the National Woman’s Party or more broadly related topics within the fields of women’s and gender history, equality studies, women’s studies, or related fields linked to the legacy of National Woman’s Party.

Eligibility

Graduate students, independent scholars, and other researchers with a need for the fellowship support are encouraged to apply. All researchers must meet the requirements of the reading rooms that they plan to visit, including the Manuscript Reading Room requirements. Individuals who are not U.S. residents but who otherwise meet the qualifications may also apply and be considered for a fellowship, contingent upon the applicant's visa eligibility.

Completed applications are due on February 1, 2025, and notification will occur in late spring 2025.

Program Overview

The Library of Congress Junior Fellows Program (JFP) is a paid, 10-week annual summer internship program that enables undergraduate, graduate students, and recent graduates to gain career experience by working with analog and digital collections and supporting the services of the world's largest, all-inclusive library. Working with curators and specialists in various divisions, Junior Fellows explore collections, resources, and initiatives and produce products that position the Library of Congress as a dynamic center for fostering innovation, sparking creativity, and building lifelong connections.

Selections for all 2025 Junior Fellows are projected to be complete by late March 2025. Notices of selection or non-selection will be sent during the first week of April 2025. The Storyteller Initiative application officially opens today!

This new fellowship supports oral historians, documentarians, artists, and narrative changemakers from historically marginalized communities to develop their own projects.

Through the program, VOW provides training, guidance, and $10k in funding for fellows working to document and amplify stories from their own communities.

The initiative aims to expand the kinds of stories that get told, strengthen community-rooted projects, and contribute to movements for justice.
