WELCOME

In these pages you will find many reasons to do business and make yourself at home here. A public-private partnership, High Point Economic Development Corporation (High Point EDC) works to increase community prosperity by recruiting new businesses, retaining existing industry and assisting in revitalization. In 2022, the City of High Point welcomed Forbes Global and Fortune 500 companies, downtown office projects, industry expansion and new local retail. Transformational projects are underway for High Point including new downtown living options, a small-scale manufacturing hub, a shared-use kitchen and the opening of the Home Furnishings Hall of Fame. Looking further ahead, High Point can expect to cheer on the Carolina Core Football Club, an MLS Next Pro team, at Truist Point in 2024. Continued growth in population and workforce is also anticipated as nearly 100 people move to North Carolina daily. Here’s to the City of High Point’s many successes, past, present and future!
