2021-22 STUDENT GROUP PROGRAM

Camelback Resort & Blue Mountain Resort have teamed-up to offer the ultimate Student Group Program in the Pocono Mountains. CRITERIA • Twenty or more enrolled, paid participants organized by a group leader.

• Registration for the program will be done online through Camelback Resort’s Club Portal. A special login and password – unique to each club - will be emailed to the Group Leader upon receipt of a completed “Intent to Participate” form. Leaders will also be provided unique login instructions to share with the parents and guardians of their students. By accessing the portal, parents may register and pay for their student and family members. The Club Portal will close for registration on November 23rd, 2021. After that date, group leaders must email add-on requests to tbruno@camelbackresort.com • Payment to Camelback must be made with a major credit card.

• Should a Group Leader wish to pay with check for all members, please contact tbruno@camelbackresort.com for instructions.

• Items added on group club nights must be paid in full when purchased.

SCHEDULE NEW! Season passes may be enjoyed at the beginning of Winter Season through closing of season.

Group Lessons will be available Monday – Friday, January 4th, 2022 - March 4, 2022. When completing the Intent to Participate form, Group Leaders must indicate the Day of Week and preferred Lesson Start Time their club will be participating in group lessons. This will be the only day/time at which club lessons will be available. All lessons must be completed by March 4, 2022.

This $189 pass gets you : - Unlimited skiing and riding midweek (Monday – Friday) open to close - Unlimited skiing and riding after 4pm on weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and Holidays (Dec 27 – Dec 31, Jan 17, Feb 21) - Unlimited Daily Pick up Rentals $120 (Daily pick up is required/Home Mountain Only) - Discounted Lesson Rate $25* (Home Mountain Only) At BOTH Camelback and Blue Mountain! (Discounted lessons and rentals not available at partner resort. Rentals can be purchased at full price at ticket window. Hours above apply to Partner Pass.)

PASS PICK-UP A parent/guardian/group leader must accompany anyone under the age of 18 when picking up a Season Pass. Season Passes cannot be issued to a minor without the signature of a parent, legal guardian, or accompanying adult on the Season Pass Contract. Participants will be able to review and sign the season pass contract when ordering a pass on the Camelback website. Contracts will also be available to download.

PASS PICK UP INSTRUCTIONS Group Leader must choose the option they prefer for their group’s pass pick-up: OPTION 1: Group leader will receive/distribute all of their group’s passes OPTION 2:

GROUP LEADER RESPONSIBILITIES The Group Leader and Advisors are responsible for: • Adhering to all program deadlines and guidelines • Communications with parents/guardians informing all participants of the program deadlines & guidelines • Providing Camelback Group Sales with complete and accurate participant information • Reviewing club purchases to confirm orders are complete and correct • Checking in with Ski Patrol on a regular basis while here with group • Monitoring behavior of club members while on the mountain and in the lodges • Assisting club members through the rental shop before and after skiing/riding • Delivery and release of lesson participants, at the Ski & Ride Academy, is the sole responsibility of the Group Leader/Chaperones whether the group travels by bus, vans or cars. Groups must designate staff for this responsibility for each of their visits.

GROUP LEADER INCENTIVES Group Leader Incentives are based on the number of “online” registrations paid directly to Camelback by November 22nd, 2021. IMPORTANT - All earned incentives will be issued in the Group Leaders name. If this card is mis-used all group leader perks will be cancelled. Under no circumstances are tickets to be re-sold.

1 SUPER PASS & 1 GROUP LEADER GUEST CARD • Guest card is pre-loaded with 10 open-close lift tickets for every 20 participants. Additionally, it includes rentals.

PLUS! Summer 2022 Camelbeach Guest ID Card. All Group Leaders will receive one Summer 2022 Camelbeach Guest ID Card valid for 15 waterpark visits, to share with family and friends.

SNOWSPORTS LESSON TIMES

Your group’s lesson time will be scheduled, in advance, by Camelback Ski & Ride

Academy Staff based on your arrival time, departure time and daily demand of both

individual guests and other groups. For groups arriving by bus, we must build

in an allowance for delayed arrival of buses whether due to late departure

from schools, road congestion, road construction or weather.

IMPORTANT : Lessons purchased through the program must be taken on the day of the week selected by the group leader for the club. Any missed lessons (due to illness cancelled at least 24 hours in advance) may be made-up on the same day and time that the lessons were scheduled for the group until March 4, 2022. Lessons unavailable on Holidays.

DAILY PICK UP RENTALS • Ski rental packages include: skis, boots and poles.

• Snowboard rental packages include; board and boots.

• Wrist guard and helmet rentals can be purchased at the time of online registration.

• If equipment is lost or stolen, the person whose name is on the Rental Ticket will be charged.

Their Season Pass will be suspended until the charge has been paid. Please remind all group members to utilize the equipment check station located at Mountain Village. The use of equipment check is FREE for Camelback season pass and student pass holders rental equipment.

• Personal equipment is not permitted in the Rental Shop. Personal equipment can be checked at the equipment check station located on the annex deck, for a small fee or locked up outside on the ski/board racks.

• The group leader or a chaperone, from the group, must accompany the group into the Rental Shop upon arrival and during returns in order to assist their participants with any challenges and to keep control of their group.

• Participants may switch rentals by contacting a rental shop associate.

• Group participants are asked not to leave personal items such as shoes, bookbags or clothes in the Rental shop. Lockers will be available under the breezeway and free cubbies are located in the Big Pocono Family Eatery.

CANCELLATIONS

MUST BE MADE BY 12PM ON THE DATE OF VISIT

If you must cancel your group’s scheduled visit, for any reason, Camelback must be notified no later than 12:00 noon on the day of your visit. If Camelback must cancel groups due to weather conditions on the mountain, or any other reason, we will contact group leaders by noon so they can notify bus companies and participants in their programs. The only exception to this is an unexpected emergency that interferes with mountain operations after 12:00 Noon.

Group leaders, in car groups, must have a plan for communicating cancellations to their group participants.

REFUND POLICY We only issue pro-rated refunds for group members that have been injured during the course of the program. The enclosed form must be completed by the Group Leader and returned with a doctor’s note and the Student/Season Pass. Refunds will be issued in the manner in which they were paid and sent directly to the source of the payment. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing, once the form, doctor’s note and Prepaid ID Card/Season Pass have been submitted.

There are no refunds for prepaid rentals if personal equipment is purchased after payment has been made by the group.

The Group Leader is responsible for including this information in any enrollment paperwork that goes home to parents.

FIRST AID & SKI PATROL

• Every member of the Camelback Ski Patrol is an Outdoor Emergency Care

Technician and member of the National Ski Patrol. Many of our members

have additional training in advanced care and have been with our

organization for several years.

• The Ski Patrol Office is located directly behind Guest Services. Camelback requires group leaders to sign in with Ski Patrol upon arrival for each visit. Ski patrol will need emergency cell phone numbers for all chaperones / advisors who are on the mountain or in the lodges.

• Groups should consider having an extra vehicle along on the trip in case a participant in the group is injured and requires off-site medical treatment.

• “Your Skier / Rider Responsibility Code” is a set of safety guidelines for skiers/boarders, endorsed by the National Ski Areas Association, which all skiers and riders are expected to adhere to while at Camelback. Discuss with your group participants the importance of knowing and understanding “Your Responsibility Code”.
