40 Years and back for more Dydd Iau 6 Chwefror | Thursday 6 February Doedd nifer fawr o selogion yr 21ain ganrif The Blues Band ddim wedi'u geni pan benderfynodd y pum perfformiwr meistrolgar yma, a oedd eisoes yn gerddorion profiadol, i ymuno â'r byd cerddoriaeth poblogaidd ym 1979 a ffurfio band 'dim ond i chwarae'r blŵs'.

Fyddai neb wedi rhagweld y byddent yn parhau i ddiddanu cynulleidfaoedd gyda’u crefftwaith a’u rhinwedd 40 mlynedd yn ddiweddarach. Ar ôl 20 albwm a miloedd o berfformiadau, maen nhw wedi ennill enw da ledled y byd fel rhai o ddehonglwyr gorau traddoddiad y blŵs ym mhob ffurf. Many of the Blues Band’s 21st century fans weren’t even born when these five virtuosos, already music industry veterans, decided to fly in the face of musical fashion in 1979 and form a band ‘just to play the blues’.

No one could have predicted that, 40 years on, they’d still be dazzling audiences with their showmanship and virtuosity. About 20 albums and thousands of gigs later, they’ve earned a reputation around the world as one of the finest exponents of the blues tradition in all its forms. With this line-up, it’s hardly surprising.

Levellers are still going strong after 30 years in the game. They have long been, and still are, one of the best live bands around and they’re back in 2020 with a new studio album and an extensive tour taking in double nights at some of their favourite towns and cities.

Over the years, Brighton folk-rock band Levellers have worn many masks; most selfmade, some imposed upon them. But while their status has evolved over the decades, the basic humanity underpinning their music has remained constant.

Rich Hall’s comedy/music locomotive keeps on rollin’. Ever-evolving, everchanging, fans keep returning because this show goes where other comedians wouldn’t dare: Barrow-in-Furness for example.

Rich’s acclaimed BBC4 documentaries and his Radio 4 series Election Breakdown have established a whole new legion of followers. He’s also a stalwart of QI and Have I Got News For You. But seeing the Hoedown is a whole different experience.

If you are unable to make an event then the tickets may be exchanged (subject to availability), or at the discretion of the Box Office staff, it may be possible to provide a credit voucher. There is an administration charge of 75p per ticket to do this.

When a performance is cancelled, the full amount will then be refunded by cheque or card, depending on the original payment method.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not able to offer a cash refund.
