Agathon On Spot is a dedicated and professional service partner for hauliers and transport operators from Denmark and abroad. Agathon On Spot is domiciled in a brand new garage plant in Silvervej in Hirtshals. The building, which is a part of Hirtshals Transport Center, contains 4 lanes for repair and MOT testing of lorries and separate trailers. The lanes are 32 metres in length, thus allowing for repair and service as well as testing of modular heavy goods vehicles. Moreover, there is a lane for MOT testing of passenger cars. Agathon On Spot is owned and operated by Bent Agathon Leifsgaard who, over a short span of years, has built up the business which employs a staff of eight working on shifts. At the new facilities in Silvervej, Agathon On Spot stocks all the most common spare parts, including parts for refrigeration equipment, and thus the customers will swiftly be back on the road. To begin with, Bent Agathon Leifsgaard had two mobile repair vans for separate trailers, based in Frederikshavn and Hirtshals, respectively; but the new ultra-modern workshop has now made it possible for Agathon On Spot to solve all kinds of repair work and service even faster and much more efficiently. Agathon On Spot has entered into permanent agreements with a number of the transport in-
dustry’s major players, such as e.g. Color Line and Smyril Blue Water Shipping, concerning the maintenance of their comprehensive trailer fleets which are subject to regular checking and MOT
tests. Agathon On Spot moreover has agreements with DSV, TIP Trailer Rental, LT Rental, Euro Leasing, PEMA, Vendelbo Spedition, Schmitz Cargobull and DHL.
