Denny Denison was born and raised in Pittsburg. He was a math teacher at Bishop Verot High School in 1994, later moving into administration before eventually becoming the Dean of Students. After serving for nine years at Bishop Verot High School, he was appointed as an assistant principal at St. Ann Catholic School in Naples and then as assistant principal/athletic director at Dunbar High School in Fort Myers. Dr. Denison returned to Catholic Education when he was selected to serve as principal of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School, and later as principal of St. John Neumann Catholic High School, both in Naples. He has also served as the Interim Director of Education for the Diocese of Venice and as an adjunct professor of Education at Barry University and Ave Maria University. He graduated from Slippery Rock University with a B.S. in Education with an emphasis in Mathematics. He holds a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership and a Master’s in Education, both from Nova Southeastern University. Denny and his wife Jani have two children, a daughter Allison, a junior at St. John Neumann Catholic High School and a son Joshua, who attends Grove City College in Pennsylvania.
Xiaosong (Eric) Guo is a part-time Chinese Language teacher. He is originally from China, and he and his wife, Jade, currently live in Naples. He is in the doctoral program at Lynn University in Boca Raton, while Jade works in Naples as a marketing analysis specialist. Eric majored in Educational Leadership and Administration. Eric and his wife enjoy traveling and even visiting different cities in Florida such as Orlando, Tampa, Miami South Beach, and of course cruising around the Caribbean. In this coming academic year, he looks forward to becoming a qualified and welcomed teacher, and making many friends in Bishop Verot. He loves to teach and learn together with students.

Communications / Event Coordinator
Christy Greer is the new Communications and Event Coordinator at Bishop Verot. She is a Nashville,TN native. She received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration in 2012, with a concentration in Marketing from The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). She moved to Florida a little over a year ago and recently got engaged to Bishop Verot graduate Andrew Keys (‘08), whom she met in Morgan ‘Marinell’ Engels college through mutual friends. Christy enjoys traveling, English fishing, reading, and SEC football. She looks forward to Morgan Engels maiden name is Marinell and she is a a great school year and meeting all the wonderful Verot Bishop Verot alumnus (‘03). She played soccer at Verot families! and continued playing at Jacksonville University. Morgan earned a degree in English and Journalism. She taught Lynnan Grissinger at Riverdale High School for the past 6 years, but is Spanish very excited to return to her alma mater to teach Lynnan Grissinger is happily returning to teach Spanish at 9th and 10th grade English and VNN.
