The Ladies of the Royal | International Edition

AMERICAN ROYAL WAGSTAFF ARENA | KANSAS CITY, MO.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2025 | 6:30 P.M. (CST)

WHereford Breeders and Guests,

Welcome to the Ladies of the Royal International Edition Sale. This year’s event showcases some of the leading Hereford genetics from around the world. You will find opportunities to purchase both live and frozen genetics capable of elevating any program. The American Hereford Association (AHA) thanks and congratulates all consignors for their thoughtful selections.

Leading off the catalog are young females that will be ready to hit the showring. More importantly, their genetics and the breeding programs behind them position these females to be front-pasture cows and herd cornerstones.

Likewise, you will find bred heifers with fresh genetics from leading breeders that can advance any program, ready to calve and enter a donor program. If you are an international guest and have an interest in live lots, please visit with the consignors or sales staff to discuss opportunities.

Similarly, the frozen genetics offered in this sale provide herd-changing opportunity for anyone in the world. As an example, Holden Herefords, one of the most historic U.S. programs, is offering a flush. Their genetics are working for producers across the globe. Embryos are offered from other leading U.S. programs and from Las Anitas, Uruguay, a familiar name in pedigrees around the globe.

Be sure to also study the semen offered by Hereford programs from around the world. Mawarra Herefords, Australia will be offering semen on a homozygous polled and a horned sire that are pillars to their program. You will also find semen offered on two exciting young Canadian bulls from MJT Cattle Company Ltd. and a new young Canadian sire from Big Gully Farm. Semen will also be offered on highly proven and young superstars from U.S. breeders. All semen will have some availability across continents. Be sure to check in with consignors or sales staff to learn about the opportunities.

The AHA is honored to host the World Hereford Conference (WHC) and provide breeders the chance to enjoy global fellowship and to learn from one another. Please join us Oct. 25 at the American Royal Complex to enjoy the culmination of the WHC Young Breeders Competition, a powerful Level 1 National Hereford Show and the Ladies of the Royal, International Edition Sale.

Regards,

Matt Bruns, NJHA Fundraising Chair ....... 308-660-7183 hereford.org/youth/njha.com

Continuing a legacy of distinction the National Junior Hereford Association (NJHA) and Hereford Youth Foundation of America (HYFA) proudly present this year’s iconic street sign, a tradition that’s a junior Hereford mainstay. Much like the maroon jackets of the NJHA, the iconic street sign stands as a timeless symbol of excellence and tradition, commanding attention in the showring at the VitaFerm® Junior National Hereford Expo (JNHE) and holding a place of honor year-round at the American Hereford Association Headquarters.

This year’s highest bidder will once again have the opportunity to double the stakes and claim their spot in the JNHE showring, kicking off a two-year commitment in Madison, Wis., July 4-10, this summer. ••••••

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Hoffman Ranch and Stellpflug Cattle Company for purchasing the street sign the last two years!

We are excited to offer this high quality Gunsmoke daughter. Gunsmoke is the 2025 Denver National Champion Bull and the 2024-2025 Polled Show Bull of the year. His first calf crop has been exceptional, and the calf reports across the country have been exciting. 512N is out of a picture-perfect Mandate daughter who never misses but knocked it out of the park with 512N. “Benelli” is the epitome of bringing all the right pieces together. Long and extended in her front one-third, stout made, big-hipped, soft-middled and has the foot and structural integrity we like to see. What sets this female apart is her eye pigment, dark red color and EPD profile that add to an already good female. This female is the real deal, and the total package! Bid with confidence! Brumley Farms is retaining a ¼ embryo interest.

She’s dark colored, big bodied, and exceptionally sound on her feet and legs. With that, she still has a high-quality presence about her. The Proud progeny are consistently among our best. We lost her dam early in her life. She was one of the more popular show heifer calves we have ever had. Her grandam, First Lady sold for $85,000 in our 2021 Female Sale to Churchill Cattle Co. 2456 is a great opportunity to own a female that represents the pinnacle of over 80 fall yearling heifers being developed at Innisfail Farm. Her balanced numerical profile drives her bioeconomic indices to the forefront of the Hereford population. 2456 is moderate in stature, functional in her build, and has the right amount of skeletal width and body shape. This dark red, goggle eyed, heifer will have four brothers featured in our pen of bulls in Oklahoma City. Her mother, 004, won the Dixie National in 2022 and was the $15,000 selection of Day Ridge and P&J Farms in our Mature Cow Herd Dispersal. The Trademark daughters in production offer phenomenal fertility and udder quality. His progeny have offered as much carcass value as any we have harvested in Innisfail’s 50 year tenure in the Hereford business.

Here is an elite daughter of the national champion “Arlo” and out of the lead donor at Campbell/Ward and past Reserve National Champion Polled at the JNHE, “Bonnie.” This high growth female has all the bells and whistles to be competitive on any level in the country. She has had only three maternal sisters that have showed in the summer at Junior Nationals, two of them were selected champion in their divisions for Beau Ann Graves and The Perez family and a reserve division champion for Madelyn Thompson. She is a maternal sister to the Champion Hereford and Supreme Champion at the 2025 Missouri State Fair along with another sister being 3rd overall in the 2024 supreme drive. Winning genetics on both sides of her pedigree that we have the highest hopes for.

Conner is excited to be offering his first ever heifer in the Ladies of the Royal sale. We had the opportunity to use the $40,000 valued bull 77 Walk Off 60D 87G owned by Barnes Herefords in our herd two years ago and have been over the moon with the results. KitKat is a natural calf out of the donor we call Hooch, the 2022 NAILE National Champion Cow/Calf Pair. KitKat comes from a strong maternal side and is only the second heifer we have ever let leave our farm - they’re just that good. This heifer combines show ring presence with maternal power. Goggle eyed, stout featured, and getting better every day, you’re not going to want to overlook this Royal Lady.

The genetic potential of this bred female is one of our best. At this writing, there are no animals in the Hereford breed that can match this female for BMI and CHB indexes while putting down pressure on Mature Cow Wt. (bottom 10%) and adding double digit Calving Ease. M153 also ranks in the top 1% for SCF, CW, IMF, REA and udder quality. To add to your investment’s accuracy, M153’s sire and full brother are being tested and 6 sires in the bottom of the pedigree have been tested in the National Reference Sire Program.

That all being said, the best part of M153, may be her cow family. Four consecutive generations of females have all be donor dams for us here at Sandhill. Her grandam, D03, was the co top selling female in our 2021 production sale, selling to Upstream Ranch where she has the been the dam of the top selling bulls 2 consecutive years. M153’s dam, J352, has been a leading donor for us, and will be the lead cow selling in our 2026 production sale.

Preg checked safe to Loewen Sandhill L70, due 3/2/26.

We will sell half interest, with the option to double your money and own 100% of M153. If that option is chosen, we will reserve the right to collect (12) conventional embryos, at our expense. For exportable embryos, contact us prior to the sale for guarantees. Give Tyler or Kevin a call anytime to discuss this awesome genetic tool. Video will be on Sandhillfarms.com
