Welcome to this year’s rendition of Hereford Night in OKC! We are excited to return to Cattlemen’s Congress on Friday, January 9, 2026, for another exceptional evening celebrating the best in Hereford genetics.
Each year, this sale continues to grow in strength and reputation, culminating a historic time within the cattle market and industry. We want to give a huge “thank you” to the incredible consignors and the outstanding cattle they bring forward. The Hereford Night in OKC has become a true highlight of the Cattlemen’s Congress and a must-attend event for Hereford enthusiasts across the country.
The 2026 sale will once again showcase an elite lineup of bulls, females, and herd picks that represent the very best in the breed. Past sale offerings have produced sires that continue to influence Hereford programs nationwide and females that have gone on to anchor donor pens from coast to coast. Bull lots will again feature exciting opportunities for breeders to acquire half-possession or more — ideal for those seeking proven pasture sires to move their programs forward. Herd picks remain a unique and valuable chance to access genetics from some of the most respected Hereford operations in the country.
We will again be selecting additional lots from the pen and open shows, bringing even more excitement and quality to the National Hereford Sale lineup. These additions have become a hallmark of the event, adding depth and opportunity for buyers and breeders alike.
Back again is a special part of this year’s event, the Commercial Cattlemen’s Certified Hereford Beef (CHB) Luncheon, will be held during the Hereford pen show on Thursday, January 8, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Commercial cattlemen from across the Midwest are invited to enjoy a great steak sandwich and fellowship while viewing top-quality Hereford cattle on display.
We invite you to join us in Oklahoma City for this premier sale. Please note the sale ring will be in a new location this year, it will be Barn 3 across from the Cowboy Bar. If you can’t be with us in person, the event will be broadcast live on LiveAuctions. TV, allowing you to participate and bid online.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to any of the field staff or office staff with any questions or for more information about the sale or the offering. We look forward to visiting with you and showcasing the next generation of Hereford genetics.
All the best,

10N or Sofia as she’s called around the barn has been a standout since she was born. As you begin to study this female on paper and in her picture, not only will you find her in the top percentiles in MM, CW, FAT and REA, you will also appreciate her length of spine, square hip and soundness. Sofia is naturally big ribbed and deep bodied and is feminine about her head and neck. She is first year junior gentle and fancy enough to take the big stage next year in Madison at the 2026 Junior National. Once her show ring career is completed, she is destined to continue to be a great herd matron. Her pedigree is stacked with quality genetics. This granddaughter of the great Maverick bull is also backed by Mighty 49C and the great Holden bull 0011X. You will be able to view her at our stalls in the pen barn.
417 was the high selling added lot to the Innisfail Mature Cow Herd Dispersal, obtaining a $74,000 valuation. No animal in the breed can match her combination of bioeconomic indices. Her growth curve is ideal, with progressive figures when it pays to weigh, while maintaining a sensible mature size. Her individual DMI data has driven her intake EPD down to a .3. Cosmetically, 417 is dark red, bold bodied, and functional in her build. She combines ample mass and dimension with tremendous balance. Both her sire and full brother to her dam (Trademark) are graduates of the NRSP, just adding to her accuracy. Ty Schultz and the Slash EV crew are incredible people with a passion for optimizing cattle to maximize profitability. We are thrilled to help them bring this exciting opportunity to the marketplace!

His dam, HPH 756 Lady Luck 5480J, has quickly earned her place among the elite in our donor lineup. Snyder represents generations of persistence in the K-State program to develop a breed-leading genetic profile with a powerful, high-quality look and functional build. 501 is the natural calf of a picture-perfect uddered, two-yearold Houston daughter that will serve as the next young donor for KSU, while his granddam, a flushmate sister to KSU Land Grant 153 ET, has already proven her worth in that same capacity. His sire, Bar JZ On Demand, needs no introduction. Snyder is the product of a diligent approach, led by our former herdsman Shane Werk, and embodies exactly the kind of real-world cattle Kansas State University wants to stand behind!
