ABOUT THE PRODUCTION

The Woman at the Well: Dance Experience

Witness the convergence of faith, artistry and transformation as DEW Ministries presents The Woman at the Well: Dance Experience a revolutionary worship experience that reimagines biblical storytelling through the powerful vehicle of liturgical dance.

This isn't merely a dance recital; it's an immersive spiritual journey. Celebrating the African-American style of traditional liturgical movement, dancers weave together a tapestry of dance, music, and narration that gives contemporary relevance to an ancient story.

The atmosphere is electric yet reverent. As bodies in motion interpret the story of a woman forever changed by a divine meeting, audience members can find themselves transported to the biblical scene. The production moves seamlessly between moments of solemn reflection and ecstatic celebration, mirroring the soul's journey from isolation to community, from shame to acceptance.

The organization behind the production is DEW Ministries. Their diverse ensemble provides richness and varied perspectives to their artistic ministry and includes dancers connected to churches across the United States and Canada.

Whether you're drawn by faith, fascinated by cultural dance traditions or simply appreciate powerful storytelling through movement, The Woman at the Well offers something profound. Experience ministry where every gesture carries meaning and where ancient wisdom meets contemporary expression. This is sacred storytelling reimagined.

To God be the glory!

THANK YOU FROM THE VISIONARY Evangelist Shaquana Jordan

This production, "The Woman at the Well: Dance Experience", is more than a play—it is a vision that God placed in my heart years ago. For a long time, I carried it silently, trusting and believing that, in God's perfect timing, it would come to life. And just as it says in Habakkuk 2:2 (NKJV): “Then the Lord answered me and said: ‘Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.’” I wrote the vision. I prayed over it. And now, because of the faith, work, and dedication of so many incredible people, it has become reality.

To every dancer, cast member, crew, staff, and supporter thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your time, your energy, your sacrifice, your prayers, and your belief in this project have meant more than I can ever express. You helped carry this vision. You brought it to life. I truly could not have done this without you. To every guest, friend, family member, and supporter who came to witness this experience thank you for showing up. Thank you for seeing what God gave me. Your presence was not just appreciated, it was a part of the vision unfolding.

I am truly, deeply grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for helping "The Woman at the Well: Dance Experience" flow with purpose, power, and praise.

With a heart full of gratitude,
