They are responsible for the operation of the mill, 3 truck-and-trailer rigs, 4 single-delivery trucks, 7 units of mobile yard equipment and 75 operations department personnel,

They are also responsible for the disposal of all waste, including sawdust. Two sawdust trucks are operated for this purpose and all of it is sold to nurserymen in the South Bay area. No burning and no waste-everything, including the falldown, is sold.

Early last month the modern new office building was comoleted and the sales and administration staffs were movid from Beverlv Hills to this beautiful edifice. Bill

The sales staff is headed by Don Jewett, sales manager, who for several years was vice-president of the T. E. Olsen Company of Beverly Hills.

Don has two able assistants in Joe Petrash and George Applegate. Both of these young men are popular throughout the lumber fraternity and Joe is a member of the Steering committee of Los Angeles Hoo-Hoo Club 2.

The Los Angeles administrative ofifrces are in the capable hands of Clyde Redinger, office manager, assisted by Edie Schuricht, bookkeeper, and Shellene Greene, receptionist. 'lhis crew keeps the records and details straight and the rest of 'em have to bring in the business.

"We are at this time doing a volume business in direct shipments and yard sales," said Sales Manager Don Jewett. "We shall continue to give the Southland retailers the finest service obtainable."
