Hinkle and wife Mary Catherine and Bert Laursen and wife Catherine spent a week in August in San Francisco attending the Photographers' Convention. fire Hinkles then journeyed north on a sight-seeing trip, and the Laursens drove through the big timber area.

Art Neth, well known Southern California wholesale lumber distributor, spent the month of August on a combined business anrl pleasure trip throughout the Pacific Northwest with his wife. They had a won. derful holiday at the Fair and with friends of long standing.

Horace 'Wolfe, Hollywood wholesaler, and Mrs. Wolfe sailed aboard the Pacific-Orient tour ship Orsova September 4th for a cruise to Vancouver, Victoria and Seattle where they visited the Fair and lumber suppliers.

Ken Conway, Georg:ia-Pacific lumber division, Los Angeles, seen the latter part of August in San Diego trying to arrange a golf safari with Carl Gavotto, Ernie Mead and the boys.
