Gibbel Brothers, Inc., Buys McCoy Corp.
The McCoy Lumber Co., Hemet, California and the San Jacinto Lumber Co. of San Jacinto, Calif. were purchased August I by Richard and Robert Gibbel and Hillas Cole. The new owners announced that both firms would continue under the same names and that no change of personnel was planned.
Richard Gibbel is president and manager of Gibbel Brothers, Inc., corporate purchaser of the McCoy Corporation. Robert Gibbel is vice-president and Hillas Cole is the Secretary-treasurer. A. H. Ardwedson. active in the lumber business for over 40 years, will continue as a member of the board of directors for both firms.
The McCoy Corporation was formed 24 years ago, when the concern purchased the Hemet Lumber Company, the San Jacinto Lumber Company and the San Jacinto Mountain yard from H. H. Spaulding, June, 1938. Mr. Arwedson had been employed by Spaulding for 15 years prior to that time.

Three plant additions that will provide another 30,000 square feet of space for production facilities have been started by Marsh Wall Products, Inc., Dover, Ohio, manufacturer of Marlite wall and ceiling paneling.
"The demand for Marlite paneling has been steadily increasing, and current sales are ahead of our record 1961 volume. The added plant facilities are needed to keep pace with the growing use of Marlite for easy-to-maintain interiors in all types of buildings," according to V. R. Marsh, executive vice president of Marsh Wall Products, Inc.
One of the new additions will house special raw materials and equipment for new lines now being researched and developed by Marsh Wall Products, the piorteer manufacturer of pre-finished hardboard.
"'When the new facilities are completed in the fall, a stepped-up production schedule will enable us to provide even better service to our customerts,t' Marsh said.
