Renowned Artist Points For Notionql Home Week

Stan Galli, one of the nation's foremost illustrators, has been commissioned by Veyerhaeuser Company to bring to life on canvas the theme and slogan for Na' tional Home Weeko 'obetter living begins when you own a new home."

Galli is well-known for his illustrative work in McCall's, Saturday Evening Post, True and a variety of national outdoor magazines. The special home week Sept. 30-Oct. 6 to parade newest home features and conveniences is sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders and local chapters in cities throughout the Iand.

Galli spent several months researching the National Home Week assignment before putting his illustrative ideas on paper. The result is shown in the accompanying inviting illustration that Weyerhaeuser, a leading wood products manufacturer, will feature in a two page ad in Reader's Digest (October issue) calling attention to the event. The magazine which has over 40 million readers will reach subscribers just before opening of National Home Week.
