The annual banquet Saturday evening at the Yuma Country Club crowned the convention activities, and, to judge from the crowd, it seemed as though almost all of the over 250 convention registrants must have been there. Preceding it was a cocktail party hosted by Fred Naumetz, .Jim Haskins and Gene Quenzler ol the Phoenix Cement Company.

Charles Mann did an able job as master of ceremonies at the banquet. Outgoing and incoming officers were introduced, and golf trophies were presented by Marvin Smith, chaiiman of the golf committee. W. C. Ketchersid made the presentation of a pen set to outgoing president Pete Pollock. Dancing and lively times finished off the evening.

The Yuma Convention Cornmittee-Marvin Smith, A. G. Bennett, Bud Root, Roy Culpepper and their wives-and Association secretary Gus Michaels and his wife are to be complimented for the fine, informative and entertaining convention they arranged. There was something of value for all, both in business and social ways. We'll look forward to going back to Arizona next yeir !
