John O. \llleaver, Jr., Paramino Lumber Company (Southern California and Arizona division) and Robert O'Neill, (Portland division) traveled to San Francisco on April 20 to attend the celebration in honor of the 80th birthday of Frank Paramino, owner and founder of the Paramino Lumber Company of San Francisco.

Word from the LeRoy Boys Home is that the boys have been busy on weekends packing new lumber into the mountain camp for the construction of the new dining hall. It is hoped to have it done by the time school is out.
The building material for the new haIl was a Christmas present from Los Angeles Hoo-Hoo "Uncles," who have for the past 12 years supported and encouraged the boys' wood shop project and mountain camp activities. "IJncle" Harvey Koll is chairman of LeRoy Boys' activities committee, assisted by Larry Weiland, Don McNew, Ben Gardiner and Chuck Lember.
Captain Wrn" Gage Thompson, Panama Canal Company, and former Master for the old lumber shipping firm of Swayne & Hoyte and Dollar Lines, visited his family and friends in San Francisco the week of April 18.
Robert Bonniksen, for the past 10 years associated with the Samoa mill of Hammond Lumber Company, and the company's successor, Georgia-Pacific, has been elevated to assistant to Dave Davis at Samoa. Bonniksen was shipping foreman prior to taking over his new duties.
Sti and Ernily Stibich (Lassen Lumber Sales) flew to Sarasota, Florida, to attend the funeral of Sti's brother, A. W. Stibich, who died unexpectedly at the beginning of a cruise of the Caribbean.
Lloyd Larson, formerly with Billy Main in Redding, has entered into partnership with BE&M Trucking to operate a wholesale lumber business. The new firm, which is called Clenco Lumber Sales, is located in Ukiah.
