The seminars on "Designing with Wood," are designed for men and women in all phases of building design and construction'who need to understand these latest technical advances in lumber and forest products.

Hurley, as a wood supplier himself, is as alarmed about over-specifying of wood as he is about under-specifying or supplying of less-than-adequate quality in wood and wood products. He cites poor techniques that have been used in good wood construction applications, and such wastage as officials specifying select structural wood for signposts.
