r-HETOOLS of the trade are often I the key to success. The cooperation between manufacturer and distributor/dealer to supply and use the tools assures unlocking the door to that success.
The distributor and the dealer who participate in the promotion programs offered are a step ahead of competitors.
At Simpson, we work closely with our customers furnishing a variety of tools that include items such as advertising "slicks"black and white reproductions in sizes for newspaper or trade journal insertions with space left for imprinting name and address and any prices for a special redwood line or sale. Radio and television scripts are available. Full color literature is available for every redwood product line. These are but a few ideas.
The real appeal and impact of the progftrm is that it combines a proven traffic building in-store promotional program with co-op support. Simpson offers to share with the dealer/distributor 50/50 in the cost of approved sales events. The program is delineated to position the Simpson redwood wholesaler as the most valuable lumber supplier to the dealer and, in turn, motivate the retailer to stock and sell redwood. It is a flexible prornotion program, easy to understand, with tools that tell the redwood story.
