New Woodwork Assn. Officers
William Ruddick is president of the National Woodwork Manufacturers Association for 1984 with Stew Lemke, softwood vice president, and William Hughes, hardwood vice president.
Officers were elected at the 1984 annual meeting which was the largest in the history of the organization.
Preparations are underway for the midyear meeting at the Westin Bayshore Hotel in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, Aug. 4-8.

Sawmill Sets Salety Record
Employees of the Tillamook, Or., division of Publishers Paper have set a new company safety record with the completion of one million manhours of work without a lost time injurY.
Beginning with a safety challenge on Feb. 18, 1981, the sawmill opera- tion reached its goal at 3 p.m. on Jan 17, according to resident mgr. Jerry Scott.

Members of the safety committee include Rogers Firth, mgr., lumber operation; Jess Drake, general mgr., wood productsi Larry Nilson, director of employee relations; John
Edwards, plant superintendenu Jack Bandrup, safety and Personnel mgr.; Jerry Scott, resident mgr., and D. J. "Mo" Ottomeier, plant engineer.
A new challenge of 1,500,000 hours without a lost time injury has been issued by Scott.

Available thicknesses are 3/8" and, 5/8", and faces can be specified plain or grooved in a variety of patterns.
