The process we experienced was very enjoyable! Greenwood Homes kept us updated the entire way and we enjoyed getting to see the house change from bare bones to a welcoming home.
What are the design features of your home that you enjoy the most?
I love the size of the master bedroom! It comfortably fits our new king size bed and two end tables. I also love the back deck which gets great afternoon sun!

The utilities are much more affordable than we expected! We can definitely tell that the house was built very efficiently!

At the time of walk through our home was complete! Very few items were incomplete and everything we asked for was promptly taken care of.

At each step of the process, Greenwood Homes' team was open and honest with us. Not only was this evident in how Chris, Carrie, Randy, and Scott worked with us through the details for the building process, but they treated us kindly and with the utmost respect as people and new neighbors.
What are the design features of your home that you enjoy the most?
We love how well the home is built, first and foremost. We also appreciate the high ceilings on each level, generous garage, and thoughtful details throughout the home; honestly, everything is just a little nicer than you'd expect it to be. We also really love the overall design of the home because its layout and proportions fit the way we live without a lot of unused space.
Have you enjoyed the energy efficiency of your home? Compared to the size of your last home, how much more comfortable / energy efficient is your new Greenwood Home?
The home is really stable from a temperature perspective, which stands in stark contrast to our prior homes. There are no cold or hot spots next to windows or in certain
rooms like we've experienced in the past. The home also seems to hold its temperature well; for example, we left for a weekend trip in March and came home to find the home's temperature just a few degrees lower than we had left it despite some cold nights and the heat set much lower than normal. We also feel like our energy bills have benefited as well.
How was the home at the time of your walk though? How was the process of settling and receiving your keys?
The home was pretty well perfect at the walk through--clean and exactly how we wanted it. The settlement was fast and easy. Indeed, it was one of the easiest closes we've had on a house. We received the keys with no hitches, and Greenwood Homes came through with another thoughtful touch, putting the keys in a customized wooden box. It helped the day feel special.
Is there something special you would like to share about your Greenwood Homes experience?
Honestly, it's the people at Greenwood Homes that truly sets this experience apart. They listened and worked to find solutions. They are genuinely kind people. The whole process was smooth and enjoyable, and that's due in large part to the people at Greenwood Homes.
What is one thing you would share with someone considering building a home with Greenwood Homes?
Do it! They are a great builder. We're happy with our home and felt well taken care of throughout the build process. Our realtor to this day still says that Greenwood is the best builder he has worked with.
