Lang. and Lit. 2B

Our units in L/L with Mr. G were memoirs, raising awareness, global mythology, and TED talks.

In our Raising Awareness unit, we raised awareness about environmental issues. We also read a book called "Hoot," which was about a boy who raised awareness about owls being threatened to be killed. We were doing this unit in Lang. & Lit. and drama.

For our TED Talks, we talked about something that we enjoyed outside of school, and also something that we could talk a lot about. We had to speak for three to seven minutes.

For the mythology unit. we had to create a presentation about a culture we were given. We had to talk about fun facts and gods and goddesses from that culture.

For our last unit in Drama with Mr. G, we learned monologues. We picked out our very own monologue from a huge selection that we felt emotionally attached to us. We started practising and having fun with friends and class mates all while learning. For our second unit, we worked in groups and made PSAs about environmental issues tying into our Lang. and Lit. unit. Our first unit was duets with a partner.
