DP Theatre
Arthur K-B.
“Theatre has been a very refreshing lesson in my DP learning. Theatre has opened my creativity and deepened my interest in creative subjects. This lesson was something much different than usual DP lessons because the atmosphere of being a class of 3 or 2 (with Jessi) made it a very familial study and enjoyable to attend. In addition, we sometimes in the year were able to watch some enriching plays in the national theatre that contributed to our success in theatre. All these elements made us appreciate theatre and our teacher that was making his all he could to entertain us and make us fall in love with theatre. The passion Mr. Walters had for theatre and making us feel better was insane and we could feel it as students. Mr. Walters is the type of teacher that you see in movies or series and you are jealous that these teachers don't exist in real life, well, they do and Mr. Walters is one of them.

Why did I choose theatre? Well, very simply I had a teacher that I appreciated and wanted to spend more time with, so I chose theatre as a subject, also I liked acting and saw the opportunity to join the theatre program, it was a win-win situation that offered me what I was searching for. Indeed, it was not a mistake I made a great choice however the amount of work is incredible and I am a bit stressed for next year because there is still a lot to do still.
Mr. Walters was a very good teacher but as well a very good person and friend. He helped us in our struggles in DP and also made us feel safe when we were in his lessons. We could express clearly our ideas and feelings while we were complaining about the injustice that has happened during the year. So yeah I will be definitely sad that Mr. Walters is leaving but grateful that I could have a teacher like him for 2 years. The reasons why you are leaving are more than comprehensible and I wish you the best in BISB.
Thank you Mr. Walters for being my friend for these 2 years, you were my inspiration and a father figure for me.”
