Year 6 Banyan
Dear Banyan,
What a superstar class you have been this year. The things I will miss the most are:
● Listening to Alexandra and Luca's preppy harmony singing in the lift and on Vienna public transport
● Lorinc’s piano playing and regular reminders that Emerald are superior
● Watching Yu Geon save goals against the Year 5 footballers
● Hearing about the scary and romantic stories Sadem has been reading in her Library books
● Gaining a deeper understanding of science, tax and programming from Aron
● Practising English (and Turkish) with Arya
● Seeing Orsi's amazing fashion choices on non uniform days (I hope you achieve your dog fashion designer dream!)
● Daniel beating me in Wednesday Wordle. Every time I hear the word capybara I will now also think of you.
● Grisha's European football updates and video recording skills. Watch out YouTube.
● Niko’s punctuality and tidiness helping to keep Banyan a hospitable place
● Watching Hyeonu play chess on rainy days and train journeys
You have made me laugh and smile so much these past months and I hope that your final year in Primary school has been the best.
It’s time to take all that knowledge and all those skills forward to the next stage.
Remember….’change is good, it’s healthy’.
Miss Johnstone Slay.

Year 6 Oak Dear Students,

As this school year comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we have shared together. It has been an absolute privilege and joy to be your teacher, and I am filled with a mix of emotions as we bid farewell to this chapter of our lives.
First and foremost, I want to express my immense pride in each and every one of you. Throughout the year, I have witnessed your growth, determination, and unwavering commitment to being absolutely awesome. You have faced challenges head-on, embraced new concepts with open minds, and pushed yourselves beyond what you thought possible. Looking back on the memories we have created together, there are so many moments that will forever hold a special place in my heart.
From our laughter-filled classroom discussions to the fascinating projects you undertook, every single day was filled with rewarding moments. I will always cherish the times we shared, whether it was celebrating your successes, supporting each other through difficulties, or simply enjoying each other's company during our class activities. From litter picking at the start of the year, to our wonderfully awesome class trip to Vienna, you have given me many fond memories.
Yours faithfully,
Mr Coupland.
