WE ARE SO VERY THANKFUL FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!

A portion of donations designated to support our fine arts department were used to purchase much-needed band instruments and equipment this year.

What a joy it is to reflect upon these past three years since establishing the San Antonio Christian School Annual Fund. During this time, your generosity has provided enhancements both in and out of the classroom. Some additions, like the solar shades on our elementary playground and the new passenger buses, are milestones more easily remembered. However, gifts to our annual fund have positively impacted many areas of our campus, predominantly our academic and extracurricular programs.

As a result of your contributions to the annual fund, many classrooms are now equipped with new technology and textbooks as well as other resources which further augment student learning. Our faculty has also benefited from specialized training, and several staff members were given opportunities to travel to other premier, private Christian institutions to collaborate with and learn from fellow educators. Your combined and continued support touches every area, student and employee at SACS.

This year, we were in awe to witness the culmination of God’s incredible provision and your increased financial commitment to support our initiative. During the 2016-2017 campaign, more than $790k has been raised, significantly surpassing our goal to raise $500k.

These contributions are already making a widespread impact. For instance, you may have noticed the new equipment and transportation recently purchased for our maintenance team. The acquisition of these items facilitates daily efforts to maintain the expansive grounds and facilities of our beautiful 60-acre campus. Over the summer, the third solar shade will be installed on our playground. And in addition to a myriad of other examples, we’ve invested in new curriculum, classroom resources, and faculty development. Enhancements and improvements like these would otherwise be impossible to fund from our general operating budget.

As you review this year’s report, we certainly hope you’ll be encouraged and inspired by the blessings that will be realized from your faithful generosity. We are immensely grateful for your partnership and support. Whether large or small, your combined gifts and participation allow us to go “Above & Beyond” in ways that tremendously benefit our work at San Antonio Christian School.
