1. The Crowd Photo With any customer based business such as retail, coffee shops, takeaways, restaurants - photos showing a busy business tend to be more appealing. Hold a sale day or special event - take some photos of the customers (you may need the customers authority to use the photo if they are identifiable). This will show that your business is fully functioning, has a customer base and is busy. All business owners know customers = income, so having these types of photos always has added appeal.

2. The Exterior Photos This will give the buyer an idea of where the business is situated and how it appears to customers. A good shop front makes a big difference to a businesses reputation. It helps identify the businesses location, which stores are nearby, if it is in a mall, shopping center, street front etc.

3. The Interior Photo / Products Showing the interior of the business and how it is presented to customers is important. It allows the potential buyer to see what the fit out of the business is like, if they can see them selves owning and operating that business, all before they have even requested more information.

Do you want your business confidential? You should instead consider taking unrecognisable photos – such as a cup of coffee, a piece of clothing, seating or perhaps consider a stock image (note: be sure to mention in your advertisement that you are utilising a stock image for privacy reasons – that it is not the actual business – you don’t want to misrepresent your business sale).
