Reading aloud to children helps them learn to read sooner and with greater enjoyment. When we think of ‘reading

How do young children learn to read? How do they develop a love of books and stories? When do children begin to discover the world of letters and numbers? How can we support children in this process?

The exhibition visualises many small steps that lead to reading. In fact, the whole world is a book. Visitors will go on a discovery journey through the world of letters, numbers and stories.


FOR PARENTS AND PROFESSIONALS The exhibition shows parents of young children (0 to 6y) how much they contribute at home to the (reading) development of their children. And what more they can do. The exhibition also provides inspiration to those working with children in a professional capacity, such as child care workers and nursery school teachers.
