Concept

As part of the urbanism class, this project was part of a proposal to increase pedestrian connectivity in Condado, San Juan. The concept was to create an inclusive skateboard park and an “interactive installation” near the beach a piece of furniture which, by virtue of its functionality, can support spontaneous and self-organized sports. These concrete L-shapes provide an opportunity to do strength exercises, stretch or simply sit for a while to enjoy nature or watch people passing by.

The elements can be put together at all joints and edges, and the possible formations can thus range from compact to long or free compositions.
