The Annual Alumni Basketball Game was held in mid-January in the Conlin Gymnasium. Team Gold, led by Coach Mike Lemmon, defeated Team Crimson, led by Coach Bill Gallagher ’71. Milton Dureau ’69 CJ and Jeff Hotard ’07 officiated, and Ron Brisbi ’67 SA kept the clock.

Alumni Rugby Match

In early January, the Crusader Rugby Team gathered in City Park to play the annual touch game against the Alumni. Coach Gary Giepert ’80, who has coached the team for the last 22 years, addressed both squads after the game and stressed the importance of getting better together.

After the match, Alumni and friends met at Causeway Bar and Grill to enjoy food and drinks and to share stories.
