The Advancement and Alumni Relations Office hosted the Baton Rouge Alumni Chapter at 18 Steak at L’Auberge in mid-August. Alumni and friends from the Baton Rouge area enjoyed complimentary food and drinks while school representatives Greg Rando ’77, Justin Fleetwood, Chris Heine ’03, and Kenny Spellman ’84 shared Brother Martin news and encouraged everyone to visit the campus when they are in New Orleans.

Houston Chapter

In late September, members of the Brother Martin Advancement and Alumni Relations Team visited LSU’s campus for the annual Alumni Day at LSU. Kenny Spellman ’84, Chris Heine ’03, Justin Fleetwood, and Thomas Mavor met with alumni in LSU’s Free Speech Alley. They were able to update Alumni about what’s happening on Elysian Fields. It was a great trip to catch up with our Alumni, including LSU Head Tennis Coach, Danny Bryan ’03.

Alumni, family, and friends gathered at the home of Marisa and Tim Taylor ’97 in late April for the annual Houston Alumni Chapter Crawfish Boil. Guests enjoyed crawfish, burgers, and beverages while the kids enjoyed pool activities. Associate Director of Alumni Relations Chris Heine ’03 along with Director of Strategic Planning for Advancement Justin Fleetwood updated the group on school events.

In mid-November, members of the Brother Martin community gathered at Rock’n’Bowl de Lafayette for the annual Lafayette Alumni Chapter Social. Advancement & Alumni Relations Director Kenny Spellman ’84, Director of Strategic Planning for Advancement Justin Fleetwood, and Associate Director of Alumni Relations Chris Heine ’03 greeted guests and updated them on all of the latest Crusader news. Attendees enjoyed complimentary food and beverages and were encouraged to visit campus.
