LET'S LOOK FORWARD TO A BETTER 2021 It is important to reiterate how well our community came together and worked through all the difficulties that this COVID pandemic presented. The tension in reconciling dueling priorities of protecting public health and maintaining a sustainable economy was intense and relentless. Our town and community leaders rose to that challenge with professionalism, steadfast commitment and empathy. Collectively, we never stopped working to find the best paths forward throughout this crisis. Breckenridge ultimately fared better than many mountain communities. We did well in keeping in keeping residents and visitors safe and did fairly well keeping our economy sustainable throughout. It is a tribute to all the people who leaned in to help in any way they could. It is a tribute to the passion we all share for this special place. Let’s celebrate a better year in 2021.
