Harris Energy & Environmental Center The Harris E&E Center offers an interactive, educational experience featuring exhibits on electricity generation and transmission, alternative energy, energy efficiency and the benefits of nuclear power. Exhibits and videos are geared toward middle school and up. The center is located near the Harris Nuclear Plant in New Hill, N.C., about 22 miles south of downtown Raleigh.
