Rennert Ranch Maternal Legacies Vol. 4

Page 1

TO RENNERT RANCH

We would like to welcome you to Maternal Legacies Vol. 4. This offering by far is the most impressive set of females that we have offered to date. It will feature a flush on one of our newest donor females, packages of elite frozen genetics, a set of bred heifers straight out of our replacement pen and open heifers that carry pedigrees rich in history with many of our top cow families and the best herd sires that we have produced represented.

We have been involved with the Charolais breed now for over 20 years. It takes a very long time to develop and build a herd as many of you know. This winter will mark a big milestone for us as we will be hosting the 10th Annual Performance On The Platte Charolais Bull Sale to be held February 16, 2026. That is a milestone that we are very proud of.

What started out as a dream, has taken the shape we planned for and has metamorphosized into the breeding program what we had in mind from the beginning. We have built our program around cow families that work for us and our customers. You may notice that we don’t chase the “hot bull of the month” but rather use sires from our own program who have passed all the tests and hurdles we expect our cattle to perform. We take a lot of pride in data collection, utilizing genomics and DNA when planning our mating decisions. Our science based, data driven selection coupled with an emphasis on old fashioned eye appeal is generating a very strong cow base that has become the heart of our herd.

As cattlemen, we are experiencing the BEST cattle market in history.

Consumer demand for quality beef is strong and indicators suggest that expansion in the nations cow herd has begun. We have done all of the work, selecting and developing genetics that are focused to meet the demands of all segments of the beef business. By investing in females that are designed for tomorrow’s beef industry you can be in the driver seat. We believe we have assembled an offering that contains the necessary genetics to do just that. As you flip through the following pages, we think you might agree.

Please plan to join us on December 7th. If you are unable to make the trip, sale representatives will be available and the sale will be broadcast live online at bid.superiorlivestock.com. If we can be of any assistance, please let us know. We always enjoy a herd visit and talking about Charolais cattle.

JMAR Ms. Doubt 3E27 is our newest, exciting donor that we brought into our breeding program. For our herd, she brings in a very outcross pedigree and is sired by a great, older, proven sire from the Schurrtop program. We were drawn to her because of her ultra feminine look, great length of body, flawless udder, long and powerful hip, solid foot structure and her excellent genomic EPD profile. Her collective lifetime weaning weight production is a ratio of 109 on her first 4 calves. We have a natural daughter of hers sired by JMAR Kinsman 3J82 and we have flushed her twice to CCR GHC Grandview 9032 resulting in 9 embryos on the first flush and 20 embryos the second to average over 14 embryos per flush! She has already raised a son that sold for $15,000 to Sandmeier Charolais in South Dakota. 3E27 has been left open and is ready to flush. O ering the Right to Flush JMAR Ms Doubt 3E27. Guaranteeing 6 embryos, with no cap. The buyer will recieve all embryos produced — no matter how many that may be!

This is an extremely exciting opportunity! CCR GHC Grandview 9032 has his own unique story to tell. He is a son of the highly proven LT Patriot 4004, who has sired sale toppers and breed leaders for many years. His dam is none other than M6 New Germaine 484, who has commanded so much attention and is currently perhaps the most popular cow in the Charolais breed. We were fortunate to walk Grandview in the summer of 2022. His four sons averaged $9,375 on our 2024 POTP Bull Sale. Recently, a son of Grandview brought $19,750 in a production sale. Our first Grandview daughters came into production in the spring of 2025. We have retained nine daughters within the herd and I tell you what, they are outstanding! You will see his influence in our program for a long time to come. Now deceased, there is extremely limited Grandview semen in existence with NONE available on the open market. The opportunity to acquire embryos by Grandview and the very impressive 3E27 donor is rare, value packed, and not to be missed.

This stunning and extremely balanced female is special. She has a royal pedigree being sired by the $48,000 ABS Stud, JMAR Jefferson 8M11 and is out of one of those highly sought after M6 New Germaine daughters - the 5149 cow owned by Rolling Hills Charolais in Kentucky. We have had 5 different matings out of M6 New Germaine 5149 and they are working greatly in our breeding program having solid performance, extra eye appeal, excellent udder quality, good structure, easy doing dispositions and genetic balance. This eye catching female grabs your attention and has a balanced genomic data set, with 12 traits in the top 20% of the breed to be geared to make top end offspring.

What an interesting bred heifer here. Sired by JMAR Benaiah 1E66 who left his mark on the breed by topping sales and being an interesting genetic bred sire with a unique pedigree. His dam now owned by Brent Charolais in Kansas; previously owned by Sonderup Charolais here in Nebraska has been an outstanding donor for many years as she is now 14 years old. We have raised some 1157 offspring, notably including RENN Thorogood 805F who was our 2nd high selling bull in 2019 being a herd sire for Whitetail Farms of Paxton, NE and a donor we highly utilized RENN Wolf Whistle 007H which you will hear a lot more about in the next few lots. A power packed pedigree including that ever-popular Germaine bloodline. This female is angular, pretty and correct in so many ways. She brings calving ease, growth performance genetics and carcass in a very neat package.

Grand Dam of Lots 5, 30, 32, 49 & 50

Elite growth and carcass genetics can be found in this doll. She is a daughter of Heart-J Freeland 1830, the high-selling bull on the Performance On The Platte Bull Sale bringing $20,500 to Sandmeier Charolais in South Dakota. Her dam is RENN Wolf Whistle 007H, who Dr. Clint Rusk called the best Bells N Whistles daughter in America when he visited a couple of falls ago. Whether that is true or not is debatable, but we appreciated the compliment from an esteemed livestock judge. We lost Wolf Whistle this past spring, so some of these offspring will be the last to come from this tremendous, home raised donor cow that caught every visitors attention when they saw her. This direct daughter is impressive in her own right and offers lots of length and volume. Her genomics and EPDs put her in the top 1% for SC and TSI; top 2% for WW, CW and REA; top 3% for YW and top 7% for Marbling making her pretty elite in those traits.

The pedigree in this female is ladened with Rennert Ranch history and carries two shots of Germaine blood in her pedigree. Her sire, RENN Full Tilt 2007, is one of our calving ease specialists that brought $13,500 for half interest selling to Powers Charolais in Georgia on our 2023 POTP Bull Sale. Full Tilt is sired by RENN Full Rush 906G, our high-selling lot in 2020 going to Russ Lewis in Kansas and traces back to our Bar S Sweetheart 2003 donor. Tilt’s dam side of the pedigree is lead by RENN Wolf Whistle 007H as he was her first natural calf. On the bottom side of the pedigree RENN Germaine 310L is sired by R ENN Counselor 0713 who was our high-selling bull in 2021 going to Circle Cee Charolais in Alberta, Canada and he traces back to our Quinn cow family. Of course on the bottom side of 310L is M6 New Germaine 5149. Collectively there are 4 donor females in this pedigree that we regard very highly and are influencing our herd. This young female has a lot of power in her blood and also brings a nice looking package with plenty of substance. She is a very neat genetic package. Sells open.

These 3 open replacement heifers were bred by design. They are sired by the $48,000 ABS Stud Bull JMAR Jefferson 8M11 who is being used widely across the Charolais breed. Their dam is our own stunning donor female, RENN Wolf Whistle 007H, going back to M6 Bells N Whistles and M6 New Germaine 1157 - a long time proven donor and member of the infamous Germaine cow family. These females are feminine and carry lots of length of body and nice design. Take your choice of these fancy full sisters.

Hosea is gone now and semen is very limited making this a rare chance at some of his genetics. She is soft made and maternal looking and ranks in the top 3% of the breed for Marbling. This grand daughter of our Fink 6301 donor combines two important sires from the Rennert Ranch breeding program. Cowboy is a calving ease specialist that still offers well above average growth performance, maternal value and marbling in a balanced package. This females maternal grand sire, RENN Lexington 6346, was the high seller on our first bull sale in 2017 and ultimately ended up working in the Leachman herd in Colorado as one of their top sires. The mother to this heifer is a full sister to RENN Performer 202K who we own with Powers Charolais in Georgia. He is doing great things for both of us as well as others who have purchased semen on him. This young female has a very nice look with strong, balanced EPD set. Sells open.

This mating was specifically planned with potent growth, exceptional carcass traits and convience traits in mind like nice udders and good dispositions. These females rank very high for TSI as well. Combining strategically designed pedigrees from JMAR’s breeding program, combined with our proven, outstanding and popular Fink donor, these females bring a world of quality. We are giving you two options with this mating. Pick your favorite or double down and take them both.

BAR S SWEETHEART 2003 Grand Dam of Lots 13 & 15 Great Grand Dam of Lot 14

I specifically remember the early morning that this heifer was born. It had snowed that night before and I lasted checked cows around 3:00 am. At first light, I was back out and I couldn’t locate the 909G cow but I knew she was close to calving. I finally found my cow, who had jumped over the cattle guard and she knew to go over to the cedar trees just across the fence where she would be alone and have some shelter. There she was, a tiny sweet little baby and I gathered them up and brought them to the sheds to get out of the elements. The little heifer calf really grew up and I wasn’t mad at that cow who had instincts to know where to go have her baby in a safe place. Strong maternal value isn’t something we have EPDs for but something we try to place emphasis on when keeping females. 4909 turned out to be a great looking young female and she really looks nice as a bred heifer. We think you will agree.

This heifer will be very closely related to Lot 13 and is out of a maternal sister who was a first calf heifer. She is very feminine, balanced and we love her pedigree having the consistent combination of Cowboy Romeo on Front Range daughters. Cowboy Romeo’s dam was a Dam of Distinction and the grand dam was a Diamond Dam of Distinction. I would expect this to be a nice uddered, productive, balanced producing female. Sells open.

We really like this bred heifer who carries genetics for calving ease, maternal and high marbling. The first Cowboy Romeo daughters came into productionwe this past year and are making very nice cows. The Mahomes daughters are very good females with exceptional udders and a beautiful cow look to them. After this heifer has her calf by our calving ease specialist Full Tilt, put the power on her and watch her raise some really good calves.

We love the length, femininity and umph this heifer has. She is out of a very good HCR Freedom 6144 daughter. The Freedom offspring in our program have done lot of good things including being the top selling sire group in our bull sales and having the top selling lots multiple times with sons like RENN Counselor 0713. Gun Runner’s dam is a donor for us, as was Bar S Sweetheart 2003, who was absolutely beautiful. This is a top notch female. Sells open.

Tying together the Quinn cow family on top of the Fink 6301 line and the great 3519 bloodline combines a lot of quality and power. 4019 is A.I. bred to RENN Cowboy Romeo 1505 that brings our Uptown Girl 5805 cow line to add even more depth to the next generation that will be here in the first part of February. Check out this lot that combines strong cow lines, a striking phenotype and a strong, balanced genomic EPD profile.

This power packed female will be medium framed and carries a lot of density having a powerful, wide top, thick end and an abundance of rib shape. She is easy fleshing and carries a lot of mass in a pretty package. She blends calving ease, marbling, and muscle in a very attractive package, while while bringing in cow power from mutlitple donors like Bar S Sweetheart 2003, RENN Wolf Whistle 007H and of course goes back to the TR Ms Wrangler 3519. Sells open.

Bred silimar to the previous lot. These two daughters of Full Tilt are built very similarly and we are seeing the consistency of matings that are closely related. Big bodied, wide topped, medium framed and thick ended females who are easy fleshing best describe their kind. We really like the looks of these and there should be lots of genetics in the pedigree to back them up to making great productive cows.

Years ago at the Historic M&M Dispersal we purchased a group of highly productive cows, including AC Ms Western Edge 2044 PLT ET, a direct daughter of the highly notable donor M&M Ms Slasher 8506 PLD ET. She was a very productive cow but a leg injury cut her time short. Before she left, she gave us RENN Western Range 1244, a Front Range daughter that is doing a really good job with a collective lifetime WW Ratio of 114. These two full sisters are daughters of 1244. Each having extreme length of body and good frame to them in a feminine, pretty package. They are sired by RENN Performer 202K, the performance sire who was our high-selling bull in 2023 and is co-owned with Powers Charolais in Georgia. Performer is a combination of our Quinn and Fink 6301 cow lines for us. This pedigree has several notable sires and donors going back many generations. Evaluate these two and possibly keep a cow family together. There is strong growth and carcass genetics in these two full sisters.

Here is a purebred Charolais female registered as a 87.5%. Heart-J Char-Lay had a really great unregistered purebred Charolais cow known as the “177” cow who was still in production at 15 years old and really raised stand out calves. We wanted a little piece of that cow and purchased her Freedom daughter, “1477”, in 2021. We have ran DNA on the cow and her numbers are more than respectable. The “1477” cow is a good looking cow who has done a great job and has a lifetime WW Ratio of 3 at 105. She is a little taller framed female with all the balance and correctness that the Cowboy Romeo daughters possess. She is also very balanced genomically and has a strong data set. Her dam was a 2nd calver with a nice udder and is mysteriously intelligent, curious and gentle. This is a really nice cow prospect. Sells open.

The Gun Runner offspring continue to impress us. This is a pretty heifer with the punch that Gun Runner puts in them. She is extremely long bodied, big topped, square hipped and wide from behind. The thing I dislike the most about this heifer is she got her tail stepped on and her fly swatter is a little shorter than the others. But this is a high quality heifer with a bunch of cow potential. Her mother is a very attractive Front Range daughter with a nice udder who decends from the Covergirl cow family. There are lots of growth and carcass genetics in this one. Sells open.

We don’t offer many Uptown Girl females, so this is a rare chance at getting one! The dam of this one is a maternal sister to Cowboy Romeo’s mother going back to the great old 3805 cow who was a Diamond Dam Of Distinction. This is a powerful cow prospect. Sells open.

The Insatiable females go back to the 9538 donor that we acquired from the M&M Dispersal who raised her last natural calf at 15 years old. Their pedigree is unique going back to Mac and Carbine breeding. 5006 is a grand daughter of the old 9538 cow. Her dam, 006H, has been quite productive too, contributing bulls to the sale pen and heifers in the replacements. The cow potential is strong in this Gun Runner daughter if she is anything like her mother and grandmother. Sells open.

5272 is actually 5/8 Charolais, 3/8 Red Angus. We purchased her dam (¼ CH, ¾ AR) from Raile Charolais in Kansas and have intentions of flushing her to a Red Factor Charolais to make a high percent, dark red, Charolais hybrid line for our commercial customers. Sired by Gun Runner, this is a really neat light cream colored heifer that could be put into a seedstock program to make hybrids, be bred to a Non-Diluter Red Factor Charolais bull to bring in new genetics or be one heck of a commercial female. This is a very nice female with that brood cow look that should be a productive, calf raising machine. Her dam is a cow who has been around a long long time and always produces top notch calves. This sweet heifer is out of Becky’s favorite Hereford cow who has never missed and always brings in a good calf. We have sold multiple hybrids sons produced by Pippen. 507 is straight in her lines, has some power and shape and would make a strong productive cow. You could breed her a number of ways. Of course, Charolais is an option to breed her but you could also go Red Angus or Angus and have a 3 way cross and really capitalize on some hybrid vigor. Sells open.

This is an interesting mating combining two extraordinary pedigrees. CH Greta 064C has donors in her pedigree like ThomasSwisserSweet1764ET (Zsa Zsa), Thomas Ms Impressive 0641, Creek Cut Greta 576P ET and RLL Goin Places 1329 PET in her blood. Anyone involved or that has been around the Charolais breed has surely heard of those stellar females. Greta 064C is a PA Free daughter of Turton making her even more valuable. When mated to the rare, hard to get genetics of Grandview it adds even more value. Grandview’s dam is none other than the hottest cow in the Charolais breed right now, M6 Ms New Germaine 484 P, who has been dominating the sale reports the past couple of years and who herself topped the M6 Dispersal at $36,000.

This spring Greta 064C calved to the mating of Grandview and had a set of split sexed twins. Her Freemartin heifer was absolutely stunning and it was hard to watch such a fine animal develop all summer without being able to breed her further. Her Grandview son is on our bull test and equally has a tremendous look. We know what this mating can do and it is impressive. Take one package of these embryos or two. We are highly confident you will like the results.

We mated CH Greta 064C to a well proven, highly balanced, mainstream herd sire who has been siring sale topping progeny all across North America named LT Atlas 0251. Heart-J had a son of LT Atlas 0251 sell as one of the top selling lots on the Performance On The Platte Charolais bull sale at $20,000 this year. This could be an excellent mating combining Atlas, Patriot and Ledger lines with one of the great M6 Grid Maker 104 daughters ever to exist. Greta in 2023 raised Rennert Ranch’s heaviest weaning weigh calf RENN Most Valuable Player 3064 who had a scale crushing 907 lbs. weaning weight that sold to a really good cattlemen in Oberlin, KS. This year Greta 064C weaned off a set of twins with a combined weangin weight of 1,119 lbs. of calf — raising both calves herself! She is quite the working cow and can raise them.
