FELLOW CATTELMEN

We welcome you to Ressler Ranch’s annual production sale!

We are an Angus seedstock program nestled northwest of Cooperstown, ND. We have dedicated ourselves to raising Registered Black Angus cattle focusing on a balanced approach to producing females that excel in reproductive efficiency, docility, and performance. Our program continually focuses on developing a herd where each cow contributes to the traits essential to the success of our customers. The journey to perfecting these traits is a long-term commitment that involves evaluating and refining breeding practices over many generations. It’s essential to understand that chasing the ideal “super cow” can sometimes lead to diminishing returns. That is why we have chosen to focus on a steady and incremental approach to improvement that aligns with practical needs and market demands rather than in the pursuit of an unattainable ideal.

At Ressler Ranch, we’re genuinely dedicated to supporting our customers. If you have any questions about our genetics, our management practices, or if you need guidance in your operation, don’t hesitate to reach out. Our family is here to help in any way we can. We look forward to hearing from you and working together in this fantastic industry.

Ressler Ranch Heifer Program

HEIFER LOTS

70-129 Ressler’s 130-179 Goettle’s 180-214 Bennett

Ressler Ranch purchased B52 from Bruner Angus Ranch in 2020. He has proven to add ample frame, length, growth, and style to each of his calves. His first daughters will be calving spring of 2023 in our herd and several other registered and commercial ranches. His offspring are long, powerful, femininely and gorgeously patterned in a balanced package with excellent feet. The bulls and steers have continuously brought performance, 3-dimensional shape and pounds to the table.

Ressler Roosevelt 901

We carefully chose to combine the one generation changing performance sire, Roughrider, and the maternal powerhouse Mohnen Jilt 539. This is the only mating of its kind in the entire world. This bull is a phenomenal AI stud. Teddy, as we affectionately call him, is a home raised Roughrider son that has continuously raised offspring with length, DOCILITY, performance, and females with amazing maternal abilities. On top of all that, he has proven himself safe for use on heifers without sacrificing the performance necessary for this industry. Glasoe Angus and Ressler Ranch have several daughters walking our ranches and they are showing off the genetics he has passed on.
